Diz turned his head to the side and crossed his arms over his chest. "What are you inplying?" He grumbled angrily trying not to do anything stupid. "If you are trying to ask why I'm protective of her then just ask. I really hate it when people beat about the bush." He continued before turning his head back towards her.

she smiles cruelly. "i doubt that i would be answered truthfully. if dazeray is alright then that is all i need from you." she whirls and walks away, then stops. "take care of her" she says, then walks away.

Diz raised an eyebrow as the woman left. "Well that was odd. Though I would've answered had she only asked..." He mumbled to himself as he turned and headed in the opposite direction. "Now to find Valis and get some answers." Diz darted through the deserted streets once again keeping to the shadows.

as she continues lookin for valis she berates herself. "why didnt i ask to see her?" she sighs. "because she doesnt need my problems. the best thing i can do is take care of valis for her. besides, if she found out i was turned vamp she might not recover. she always was easily shaken." she smiles as she remembers trying to strengthen dazeray, failing miserably, then sighs and takes off full speed.

suddenly she stops. that male-diz?-seemed to recognize valis. she returned hurridly to the ally and began to follow the scent of his blood, obviously from a semi-fresh wound. when she saw him she began to tail him slowly. maybe she would even heal him if he helped her.

Diz hadn't noticed he was being tailed as he entered the industrial district of the city avoiding the lit streets and roads by taking the back allys, he continued to head towards his 'aquired' wharehouse or headquarters. He figured there would be a good chance atleast one of his followers would know something about Valis. As he moved quickly down the allyways he felt as if he was being watched but shook his head and threw the feeling to the back of his mind.

atlanta who had been following him cautiously now relaxed a bit. after all she could just go into his mind and make him forget if he saw her. she began walking more easily now wondering if he actually knew where he was going. even if he just went back where he came, dazeray might be there. "NO!" she chided herself. she then realized she had said that out loud. "s**t!"

Diz stooped suddenly as he heard the woman's voice. I know that voice... He thought to himself before calling out. "I know your here, you may as well just come out now and save us both some time." He scratched his head as he looked around.

Valis sat watching the battered TV in his living room surrounded by knives and the remains of his meal he grinned at the TV on which was Diz "come my student i have much to teach you so come" Valis whispered and took a butterfly knife off the wall

Diz waited a few moments before a sudden urge rushed over him to head in a totally diifrent direction. It was as if he had no control over himself as he headed towards the inner part of the city. "I'm coming... Master." The words escaped his lips as little more then a whisper as he darted throught the city. Knocking down the few people who had gotten in his way Diz continued to run through the streets and allyways as if he were being led by an unseen force. He finally stopped, looking around he noticed he was almost in the center of the citty stood infront of a large hotel. "This is it..." He mumbled and walked in through the large doors.

Valis was sitting in one of the expensive lookinbg chirs waiting for him the butterfly knife stil in one haand its wickedly sharped egae glisening in the light form the overhead lights "are you ready my student?" he asked blue eyes watching him with interest

Sonia shook her head, still shaking. "There were more of us then... it was only a matter of outnumbering him and his powers... But... not only have most of us been destroyed, but his power has steadily been strengthened... by you." Sonia's voice was barely a whisper, but you could hear the utter terror in it. "There's little if any hope to imprison him again, especially if he's been harassing the wraiths with his remaining power..."
"Well... that's all very well for you, but most of my regeneration powers were stolen, if you remember.... which reminds me... when are we going to get them back..?" there was mild sarcasm in Jasper's voice, as well as a hint of impatience. He looked up for a moment, though the ground and the sky were the same in the shadow realm. "I do believe it is night time now..."
