Sonya was still running around, dragging Racheal behind. It seemed like everyone was busy. But she knew she must save them for the overworking stress of ...well working. She ran into the Library and grabbed Kris. You're coming to the carnival with us and that's final. She then went and grabbed Kade as well from watching the robots. "Carnival now, Danger room later. Sonya then ran into the room where Emma Frost was. "Markus! Let's go to the carnival!" She grabbed his and Moren's hand. "Sorry Miss Frost," said Sonya as she ran out. She ran by Kai. "You too," and grabber her as well. Sonya then ran into the danger room as the others had finished. "Gen, Regina, um..."she paused when she saw Testuo's injury, "After you get that fixed, come with us to the carnival." And she raced back off. She saw Teagan in Scott's office. "COme on Teagan," and grabbed her. "Jaime, get out of the shower and come with us!" She ran by, watching Penny and Jacen fight. "After you're down, come with the carnival with us!" She also grabbed Cathy. "No arguing." Sonya raced down to outside. "Okay, that was easy," she said. The whole mansion was being sprinkled again. But that didn't compare to all the shocked and burnt people that Sonya had just realized. "Opps I'm sorry guys. But I wanted to save you all from the boredom of being cooped up. Now lets have fun. I'll buy the tickets."

Meanwhile, Sasha and Pietro went up to get Ana ready for the carnvial. They walked in and saw Ana sleeping peacefully. And so was Kitty. "Some babysitter," said Sasha. She got Ana ready will Pietro woke Kitty up. They went downstairs and walked with the others to the carnival.

First he was getting ready to start his training session with Emma and the others, the next thing he knew he was being dragged down the hallway. eek "AAAARRRRGGGG!!!!" He shouted in surprise after the initial shock. In a blink he was being deposited on the ground. He looked at Sonya and had to start laughing. "Ok, to the carnaval we go..." xd

Regina blinked at the blur that ran by. "Did we just miss somethng...?" She asked, staring after the girl. "Anyway, I know it's not easy to live here. It gets easier after time though, and you might even find it's better than anywhere else. But we leave that to you to decide. I'm Regina, you are...?"

Gen frowned after Sonya. "You okay Tetsuo? Let's head to the infirmary... no needles this time. I hope."

It was mostly the distraction of the blaze that Sonya had created that caught her off guard. Jacen's energy blast ripped into her abdomin and left her on her rear end on the ground.

"Sorry, Sonya, that's going to have to wait. I've got a bigger score to settle and then we can play," She answered not losing her focus after that. She wasn't going to let Jacen have another hit. Giving herself a second to heal, she jumped back on her feet.

"Now that, will not happen again," She said focusing everything back onto their fight. it had been awhile since one of those blasts had been focused at her and she'd be ready for it now. She remembered how the air around him heated up, she could feel it. She remembered when Rage did it... No, he wasn't going to get into her head. He had been in her head for too long. This night, she was going to put it to rest for good.

She wasn't going to give him any amo, no fear, no emotion. She locked down her mind which she somewhat let leak around him. This was battle and this was serious to her. The team would not be hers again until she earned it and earned it with her own pain. .. which happened sometime around putting a fist into Jacen's stomach, a blocked sword, and him hitting her back acrossed her own jaw.

"Nice shot," She said and backed off for a second. After coming at him with her sword, she pushed him back as their sword was met in sparks coming from her blade and the strange energy that his created. They flecked her face and she tried the move she used on Wolverine with Jacen. Shifting her weight back slightly, she tried to get him off balance and kick his feet out from under him. This worked until he rolled onto his back and met her blade again. Kicking his feet out, he made her jump back to avoid them ending that line of attack.

When he regained his balance, they continued the fight back and forth swing after swing. Neither could get much of an upper edge but laid some serious hurt on each other. Penance was not going to relent. At one point, she got her shoulder into his stomach, grabbed his arm (which sounded like it received an injury from her grip), and flipped him onto the ground hard.

"Arm?" She asked slightly concerned about the injury but knew she wouldn't yeild the fight.

"********." Now, Jamie knew just enough about Sonya's powers to know that she moved faster than the speed of sound, so that statement would probably be left behind. Jamie stood in the middle of the carnival and frowned. Not only did he not particularly like carnivals, but he was stuck in the middle of it wearing a wife beater. Not even time to change into a real shirt. Jamie sighed, and decided to try to make the most of it.

"Okay folks. A carnival. Oh boy." Jamie said dryly. "So what's the plan?"

Sonya and the others walked down the carnival. For a fall night, it felt quite nice. "Yes, we're all gonna have fun, while those back at the mansion can just go be bored bags of bones," she said to Cathy.

When they arrived, Sonya paid for the tickets and the group went inside. There were bright lights everywhere and people laughing. Sonya and the others walked over to the sign. She eyed Jamie and Cathy. "Winner gets to be Penny's apprentice!"

The sign read: Bumper Cars. Sonya hopped in a car. Luckily, there weren't any kids in the bumpers. "Come on chickens!" she called to Jamie and Cathy.

"Its two to a seat," said a carnie. There were only so many cars.

"Markus, would you ride with me?" she called out to him.

Sasha got into a car, and Pietro handed her Ana. "Are you sure?" asked Sasha. Pietro nodded and stood watch.

Rachael laughed and hopped into a car. "Who drives with me?" She asked tapping a finger to her cheek.

Cathy looked from Sonya to Jamie. "Hmmmmm....." She then spotted a new victom for her to annoy. "Come on Morgan....you know she won't be happy until she gets her way..." He gave her a look that cleanly indicated that he'd kill her if she tried. Not carring a bit she grabbed him and dragged him to a car. "No hitting...scowl at me all you want..." She said with a sweet smile.
