"N-No, it isn't... She's become a totally different person... I have a feeling that Annexus knows what happened to her," Rina said.

Rita narrowed her eyes at Annexus. "That information is not yours to hear. Your time shall come soon, for all of your sins against the gods! My master's plans cannot be stoped."
Annexus shoved his sword in the ground. "I will find your plans, and I will destroy your master, as the many who attempted to take this world before him!"
Rita laughed. "You think that you scare me? I know of you and your kind. You rebelled against your creator! You took the life that was given to you, and you slay the maker!"
"I served my master faithfully, but I cannot abide the slaying of the innocent for his personal amusement. The Gods are to protect the people, to watch over them, not enslave them, as you seek to do!" Annexus resisted the urge to take his blade. The girl she inhabited was innocent, and he did not wish to kill Rina's sister.

"Rita..." Rina said, eyes starting to water. "No... You aren't Rita... You aren't the sweet little girl I grew up with... You serve one of the Gods... One of the Gods that created me the way I am..." By now, small rivers of tears were flowing down her cheeks. They weren't tears of sadness. They were tears of joy to be able to meet a servant of her creators. She hoped that Annexus wouldn't see the real reason for her crying and she hoped that Rita did.
Mina had to try to resist the urge to steal one of Rina's swords and stab Annexus through the heart while his back was turned. Such an act would get her killed.

Yin felt somewhat good for some reason, but couldn't figure it out. She saw Rina crying and thought it was because of her sister. Watching the other girl kept Yin on her feet. She knew she had to protect Annexus.

Mimi had been paying more attention to the battle than others. She knew what Annexus was thinking, therefore paid attention to that. That way, she learned what happened to Hiro, but didn't quite comprehend exactly what he did. She followed Mina after contemplating this for a moment. "Mina, Hiro's not dead.." She said, "You were right. He's alive, yet his soul seems to have been removed from his body. Its really quite interesting and confusing." She stopped and took a moment to listen to what was going on right now. "Seems like there are more confusing things than that though...." She added. What was going on? Her brain was going a hundred miles a minute. It didn't help that all the stuff she was thinking was being interrupted by the other's train of thought. She sighed. She was going to have to block the thoughts out for a moment, well, at least the crowd's thoughts. She concentrated on hearing the thoughts of Annexus, Rita, Yin, Rina, and her fellow eternal eyes, but blocked out the others. There were fewer voices in her head now, and that helped. But with the fewer vices, everyone else's thoughts seemed really loud when she heard them. But it made it easier for her to think. Now....what is going on? She wondered to herself, watching the verbal quarrel between the man and the girl. How can he make himself out as the good guy? Saying the gods are to protect the people....then why has he ordered for everyone's homes to be searched for eternal eyes, almost everyday?!?! It just doesn't make sense. We are sent from the gods, yet he kills one's like us. Its just like killing a god... Her thoughts then switched to the girl. What does she have to do with this. I thought she was Rina's sister... She looked at the girl and her eyes narrowed. She then began to look through the thoughts of the king for answers. She found one. So, this girl is being inhabited by someone...or something? She still stared at the girl with unwavering eyes, trying to figure her out. Still...what is the person's purpose in this? She heard Annexus saying something about gods enslaving ...people?. Very peculiar...

Rita smiled. "This world will be my masters, no matter how many must die to make it so. If we have to stain this world in the blood of innocents, our master would have it so."
Annexus snarled. "So that's it, is it? You possess the soul of an innocent girl, put her in harms way so that you can see first hand the destruction you wrought? You disgust me."
"I never meant to please you." Rita laughed, the laugh was cold and full of malice. "The Eternal Eyes will end the world as you know it, and usher in our new age. Long live our master!"
Annexus drew his sword. "Let me see your true form, Demon! Come forth from the girl, and stop hiding! Are you afraid to face me?!" Annexus stood in a battle stance. "I will not have you use those children as you used my kind!"

Mina nodded. "But, wait... If his soul is no longer in his body, then, where is it? This is really confusing," Mina said. She looked at where the guards had taken Hiro. His blood red eyes were blank. Then she heard Annexus say something about 'his kind.' "What? This is getting more confusing," Mina said. She then started inching off towards Hiro. Maybe I'll find some clues as to where Hiro's soul is if I'm closer to him, Mina thought to Mimi. Try to keep them occupied while I get over there.

Rita collapsed. And Annexus looked around. It seemed that whatever had controlled her was gone . . . but . . . gone for good? Or just for now?
He returned his blade to his sheath and sighed. This was not going well.

Rina let out a cry as she saw Rita collapse.
Mina saw Annexus sheath his blade. She decided to run towards Hiro, and she did, hoping not to draw Annexus or any of his soldiers' attention. She sat on her knees next to Hiro. She clasped her hands together close to her heart and tried to feel where his soul was. She could feel him, but she couldn't find his exact location.

Mimi watched everyone with careful eyes, especially Mina and Hiro's body. If anyone tried to approach them and stop Mina, she would be there in a second, scythe to the person's neck. She watched as the girl collapsed to the ground, that took her attention away from her for the moment. What happened? She wondered momentarily before returning back to watch everyone with unwavering eyes. She pondered what was going to happen next to them.

"Come on, Hiro. Tell me where you are. You are so close, yet so far," Mina whispered to Hiro's body. She knew that she'd get no reply, but it comforted her to talk to him as if he were there.
((Stefis bored, too. XD I don't like having to wait for replies. I'm a very impatient person. Plus, my mom will get mad at me if I go too far in a game that we're both playing.))

Annexus walked to Hiro's body, passing Rina on the way. "Go to her, make sure she is alright."
He reached Hiro's body, and drew a small dagger from behind him.
