Haku breathed in the scent of his sister. It was nice having her here. But naturally, he got bored easily. Giving off a small bark, he would walk back towards the Den where he left Kamali. Wait.. the pup wasn't there anymore. Sighing, he would think. Kamali must've gone on that adventure. Hopefully he wouldn't take too long. He must've been gone since Selia first came. A rather long time all ready. The dark coloured wolf gave off a howl and then moved on. Back towards the pack den.

She saw the pups playing and 'hmphed' a bit. They were so childish. They didn't have pets, either. Looking tothe leather cord with the decoration around it, she would smile. Bran meant a lot to her, even if he was a human. He made her think differently.

Tobias was taken utterly by surprise as the snow smacked him in the maw. Pausing for a second in cold shock, he snickered and chased after her. Unfortunately, he overlooked a patch of ice and slipped, sliding to a stop a couple of meters away.

He couldn't see her now. Slowly and quietly, he got up, following her scent. He was careful not to let his paws crunch on the snow, for he wanted a silent, sneak attack. He used the hunting skills he had learned back in the freelands. Crouching as to not be seen, he finally could smell where she was hiding, behind a small pile of snow.

He slowly walked towards the pile, knowing she was on the other side, and pushed th snow over on top of her! He sprinted out of range and laughed.

"Got you back!" He shouted back.

Jade shook off the snow, pushed backwards into the ground and thrusted forward, chasing after Tobias.

Looking all around, Tobias was nowhere In sight. Jade grinned and headed towards a small cluster of rocks, pressuming Tobias was hiding nearby. Come out come out wherever you are! ... GOTCHA! Jade pounced behind the rocks, thumping into the ground. Feeling rather foolish Jade quickly dashed off from the embaressing moment, and continued in search of Tobias.

A slight ruffling came from within the forest. Jade crouched down low, and proceeded extremely cautiously, not wanting to create the smallest sound. Squinting into the distance, she could see the figure of a wolf staggering behind a large Oak tree. Still low to the ground Jade hurried along, filling with excitement she briefly paused. On the other side of the tree was Tobias, and she wanted to get him back. She counted down in here head. 3... 2... 1... Jade bounced out from behind the tree. GOTCHA!!

POP! Jade's eyes widened and she rushed over to see her grand-father collapsed into the snow. TOBIAS HELP!!! TOBIAS!!! Jade's voice echoed with panic, and her body lost it's strength. Jade's legs began to rapidly shake. TOBIAS!!! Jade cried for help from her hiding friend. Nuzzling into her grand-father, Jade whimpered. Please be ok Pops, please...

Another long flight through the evening prior had landed the crow back in these packlands. He came alone as not to attract attention and stayed to the highest branches and deepest thickets to keep himself out of sight and range in case the wild wolves bothered to try anything again. His master had been waiting for quite some time in another pack's lands- quite frankly the crow had grown tired of sitting about and waiting for the black pup to return, instead he would visit his pup again if he could. Though it was a non-verbal promise, his promise to return now and then was still valad.

A shake of his feathers roused the bird from his sleep and dusted the snow that had gathered upon his wings from them. His sleepy golden eyes turned about, taking in the surroundings. The devil's she-wolf is here?, he mused, for the moment simply reguarding it as a blurr upon one of the other wolves that lurked about this wood, Interesting...very interesting. Now if only... where has my pup gone? Another shake of his wings buffed off the last of the powder from him.

((Gah. Someone fill me in? *sweat* *doesn't know what to have Lexi doing*))

Bran, now that the snow storm has passed, is spending part of his time in the work to clean up afterward, rebolstering the leaning wood shed and shoveling a path to it, and cleaning rust off the traps he had to find, and dig out, from the snow for not being able to befind them BEFORE the storm. The winter is an isolating time of year, even with snowshoes, as he has no speedy means of travel to and from the towns, and he's had a fair amount of time to consider, and dislike, Lera's behavior. There's somthing dangerous and alarming about a wolf who can speak in his thoughts, and he has NO intention at all of being caught off guard again.
He draws back the bowstring, eyeing his target, this time a hay bale across the field, and lets fly, sinking an bolt into the straw in the center of a painted target. The practice bolts have no tips, simply because of their nature, but he has enough arrow heads to make them into true weapons in a pinch. His lack of one eye makes it harder to strike a target acurately, but it's made him work all the harder to get good at it. He has no intent to miss any target he's called to fire upon, and great confidence that he'll sucseed when he does.
"Even if it means a wolf pelt on the door." He growls quietly to himself. He has no idea how the other wolves would react if the witch-wolf died, or if it would simply make them act more like normal wolves...but it's a posibility he feels the need to keep in mind, rather than EVER consider himself omega.
"You coward." he adds, chiding himself.

The young fall coloured pup would start to limp towards the place she left Solane. Letting out a whimper, she would continue to limp even more towards her pet's home. Seeing him with the arrows, she yipped. "Solane! Help!" Though, she didn't know he couldn't understand her. Maybe her tone? Her front left paw was sliced up, her shoulder torn, and her face scratched from a dangerous fall athrough the bushes, and Solane was the closest to her. A small trail of blood followed her.

Bran jerks the bow up at the last minute as the pup comes hobbling from the bushes, sending the practice bolt sailing off into the treetops, hopelessly lost.
"Littlebit?" He starts forward, surprised, seeing the blood on the brownish pups fur. "What the devil happened?" He pushes forward through the snow, slinging the bow over his shoulder as he moves to investigate without thought to what other wolves might be in the area. If there was a grown wolf here to help her, surely she'd have gone to it...."Come here Littlebit..." He reaches carefuly to lift her out of the snow, trying to keep from hurting her further, so he can examine the extent of her injuries.

"Sloane!" She yipped happily as he picked her up. "I fell through a bush, tumbled down a cliff and hit the rocks!" her shoulder was bleeding and bruised, her maw cut slightly, her paw slashed, and her heart now filled with joy that she got to see her pet again. Giving his hand a small nuzzle, she would give a cry of happiness. Then a small whimper, trying to move her head to lick her shoulder.

Bran pulls the pup close, after giving her a cursory examination to see what happened. "Well something did a number on you. At least it doesn't look like bites though..." He reasures, having no idea whats been said to him. "Why don't we go put somthing on those cuts." He has a few salves himself, to take care of such injuries. It would be difficult...no...pretty much impossible to bandage a wolf, and stitching the gouge on her shoulder would mean having to keep her here until he could take the stitches out again, which he doesn't think would work. "Hopefuly you don't need stitches there kid...Your mother would have a fit..." He speaks in soothing tones, turning to go back to the cabin, which smells faintly of woodsmoke, smoked meat, coffee...the various small things that make it 'home' for Bran instead of just a place, many of which are the scents that faintly cling to Bran's wool and leather coat.

A sudden projectile stirred the crow from the daze of just rousing. His eyes flashed open as it whizzed past his face, striking the trunk of the tree just behind him with a sharp snap, bouncing off into wild spirals and finally smacking him accross the beak. With a startled and outraged caw he exploded from the tree in a frenzy, his eyes darting every which way for the damn wolf that sent the thing at him- he'd get them this time, damn-......He very nearly paused mid-air, seeing a human standing there. A human! Just like tthe one master has! Perhaps....

The bird sighed, taking a deep breath and gathering himself up to flutter down to the human- the thing scared him witless but they had been looking for humans for the most dreadfully longest time. He wanted to hurry things along. Landing on the thing the two-legged held he began cawing again, bobbing his head up and down and flaring his wings open. PEACHIE! PEACHIE! LISTEN!
