Amelia was silent as he stepped away and to the window. There wasn't much to look at out there, but she stood where she was, watching him as he spoke. Friends he left behind... parents... I know the feeling... Amelia let her hands fall to her sides. She was frowning as he wound down to the end of his mini-monologue, and it was barely when the last word left his lips that she burst out indignantly into speech.

"So being a Priest means you aren't allowed to do what makes you happy?" she demanded. Amelia walked over to him and looked squarely at him again. This was why she had never quite understood the holy sect. "So because you're a Priest, and you do good things for people, when it comes time for you to do something that will make you happy, you can't because it would mean putting yourself before other people?"

Amelia threw up her hands and sighed. "That's stupid! Maybe I sound ignorant saying this, but you can't let that get ahead of you! I'm not saying to be completely selfish and ignore others, but if all you do is help others because it's what's required and expected of you, then it's not really living, is it?" Amelia sighed, putting a hand at her forehead. This wasn't coming out right.

"What... I mean is," she tried again. "Being a member of the holy order doesn't mean you can't put your own wants first sometimes. The goddess is supposed to be all-forgiving, right? You've worked hard and you deserve to do some things that make you happy. I think she'd forgive you for it."

Alihi cracked a small smile, continuing to pet Ed.
"... I can't be sad, not now. This is the time where I should be there for others, and helping them out! ... Right?" She stated, asking both Ed and herself.

She glanced up at the tactician. She sniffed a bit while she listened, then at the end managed to turn her muzzle up into a weak wolfish grin. Ed nodded, understanding that the others needed support too.

Ed stood up, looking at Alihi inquisitively. Unfortunately, this could have been interpreted a number of ways: asking if Alihi wanted to come, if it was okay for the wolf to go, asking if Alihi would be okay... But she remained where she was, wagging her tail at Valter. A few tears still hung in her fur.

"You wouldn't leave me, would you, Ed?" Valter asked the wolf in a voice no louder than a whisper.

I'm not sure I wanted to be a Priest anyway. I wanted to be a sword-swinging hero, like my uncle was. But no, I was too frail for that.

This time, however, he kept his angst to himself--he wasn't on the verge of tears anymore. Only frowning. He was still depressed, but no longer "emo".

"Well, it wasn't a matter of the Goddess forgiving me for it. More a matter of forgiving myself for what I've done."

But he turned back around, looking Amelia in the eyes now.

"Amelia, thanks for listening. I didn't mean to throw my fears and regrets at you... no, that's not true, I did. Thanks... thanks for staying by my side. Thanks for bringing that closeness, that... love. THAT'S what I mean to say."

Rhys smiled slightly, and pulled Amelia into a tight hug. He wasn't QUITE over everything, but... well, heck. He had a new family now.

He was indeed happy with what he'd been given in this world.

(Now is that an A support, or is that an A support?)

Tibarn sighed softly, closing his eyes, and then he slid down to sit on the floor, reaching out to pet the wolf on the floor. "Don't worry," the hawk murmured. "I'm not going anywhere, as long as Ayra's staying here..." He sighed softly, smiling up at the ceiling in the general direction of his room. "I'm sure Naesala can serve the Unified Bird Nations as a good leader, and... well, I have a baby on the way." His fingers scratched up and down Ed's fuzzy neck as he murmured, "So dry those tears, cute stuff. I'll never leave you alone."

Amelia was still unsure if what she was saying had made any effect on him. She waited him out, watching him stare out the window; his mouth opened soon, though, and Amelia wasn't sure if she could relax until he had turned and faced her.

She smiled when he continued. He didn't seem... quite himself, but it was better than his sullen silence, that was for sure. "You're welcome," she murmured. Amelia hugged back; with her height, her head was just below his chin, so she rested her cheek against his collarbone, closing her eyes. Much better.

[[THAT is an A support, kids. ;D

xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!"
"The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!"

Vaida stood there, leaning against a wall, listening to the various sob stories of the others about how they ended up here. It was then that she was forced to remember her own past. Her face cringed.

"...How pathetic!"

She had not intended on speaking aloud just then, but it just came out. An awkward silence followed her words, and then she spoke again.

"I remember, all right. After Nergal was defeated, Heath and I planned to go back to Bern together to do something about Desmond's rule. We stopped off in Ilia for Heath, where I met Tori. After you quit the Bernese (I'm going to call it Bernese) army, it's extremely hard to get back, and people look on you as weak for leaving. That's why most Bernese folks go to Ilia after they leave the army. Most become mercenaries. We met quite a few people up there and they joined up with me, after they heard that I was going to take down Desmond. Before I knew it, I had assembled a small army. Heath kept me from killing them whenever they pissed me off." Vaida smirked, then paused a moment before continuing. "So, details aside, we stormed the castle... and helped Prince Zephiel kill his father. Thus ended the rule of Desmond. Not long afterward, I was told that I was going to regain my rank. It was the day before Prince Zephiel's kinging ceremony... also the day before I regained my rank. I... went to the Shrine of Seals that day, with Tori. Bah! I don't even know what happened! All I know is that Tori opened some door within the shrine, and everything went... black..." She paused again. "... ...I awoke here. Tori wasn't around, so I went looking for her. I eventually found her outside the main town. And I don't remember how long afterwards it was, maybe days, weeks even... but eventually that idiot Heath showed up, too! My mind had adapted to this place, so I didn't think of it when he showed.. I just knocked him in the head just the same. Now that I think of it... that idiot must've come.. to watch the ceremony, and then ended up like Tori and I... the infuriating softy. ...I never got my rank back... my ultimate goal. Gone. No... stolen. ...And apparently the prince turned bad after I left. Who knows... maybe it could have been different. Life is cruel. ..." Vaida ended with a blunt remark. "I blame that b***h, Elimine."

Not wanting to participate in emotional displays, she left the room to go check on Tori.

Altenna felt like she had been sleeping for a very long time. Her vision was slightly blurred as she staggered out of the room she had awoken in. She wasn’t particularly sure how she had ended up there but started to carefully walk down the hallway.

Soon she felt a cold chill as she came across several of the others who she had sometimes seen within the castle. “Others” she mentally said to herself. She didn’t know much about them but enjoyed being around them nonetheless. Altenna started to feel a since of dread before she slowly started to make her way to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Sue had thought more and more of her own memories, not those of the Sacae plains, but those of recent.

She remembered coming to this world with Rath, after they had just celebrated the victory against Mad King Zephiel. The details were fuzzy, but...

The nomad also recalled how welcoming everyone was, and how they begun to mean so much to her in the passing of the Halloween Event. "When you're a tribe... you risk your lives for each other." That's what those of FEF did, they risked everything to protect their comrades. "None of us meeting could have been a mistake."

Especially not the Older Soren, one of Sue's closest friends, and the Host Club, whom she had just become a new member. "Milord... I'll never forget my oath." she thought. "I'm going to protect you... the Host Club, and all of FEF. We must stay together for that."

She had caught on long ago to Valter and Ed's pangs of sorrow. Stroking the wolf gently, she looked up at the Wyvern Knight. "I don't now the details of your past, Valter... but... it might be a bit personal for me to ask. You want all of us to stay, above all else... so do I. FEF is... my tribe now. I want to do all in my power to keep us safe... and together."

(Had to get off last night, so I'll just say Aran arrived at the same time as most people, he just dozed off) As soon as Aran had gotten to FEFGA's and taken off his armor and put his shield and lance in the armory, he came back down and dozed off near the wall. He didn't get much sleep the previous day. "Zzz-What?" He jolted awake to see some of the members telling how they got here, but he was too tired. "I'm getting some rest, night all" He lost track of time so he just assumed it was night. He could share his story in the morning.

Victoria's eyes opened, only for a little bit, and she looked around to make sure that her nightmares hadn't come true. For the most part, she could see everyone hadn't gone 'home' yet, but she wondered tomorrow how many would stay.

"The perfect Christmas present... they all get to go home." She thought. "But what about this place.. they will be drawn to their memories here, as I would have, if only it would stay together, but it won't. FEF will fall apart, and I'll be a wanderer once again. Oh well, it's what it means to be a missionary."

The priestess thought briefly of the living legend Brammimond, and how their bond of friendship would now be cut short, as they were from the same world, but she was from a time much later than his.

{Brammi, we can B support I at least imagine.}

Renault had watched all this in his own sort of way, distant and detached again as always. ". . . Foolish," he muttered, mostly to himself. "Does it truly matter where they are? They suddenly make such a big deal out of this, but only when the chance to go back is mentioned. . ." He moved over next to Valter, looked at the man and cracked a slight grin, then reached down and rubbed Ed's head gently. ". . . I, of course, am not going to be leaving. I have no reason to go back to Elibe. There were two people who might have mattered to me there, and one is already in the house. The other. . . she may make her own choice. If she wishes to return, I won't argue."
