Hotaru just smirked at her as he shrugged. "If I told you that now, what would we talk about during dinner?" He sighed lightly. "Honestly, I'll tell you in a much more private setting." He turned to try and hide the pain in his eyes. "Sorry, but it's...no. You deserve to know about all my....abilities." he hesitated for a minute, making it look like he was trying to find the right ingredient. He turned back to her for a minute, and gave a weak smile. "Just...you remember the talk we had before we kinda wandered off to do our own thing?"

Anna turned away from Hotaru and hid the fact that she was clutching the shelf so tightly that her knuckles were was white as snow. She closed her eyes and in her mind she could imagine herself pushing the shelf so hard that it took down everything behind it, including the wall which would be considerably damaged. This would have to tie her over. She turned to Hotaru and let do of the shelf, which gave a quiet, little moan in relief. A small smile managed to paint itself across her lips and she tried to say in an understanding whisper, "Yea. If you don't want to tell me, Hotaru, I'm fine with it."

((Not at all! I actually think of her as a little bit of a cry baby sometimes. I try to change it, but those darn characters have mind of their own!! Plus her emotions kept being flung everywhere, so I don't feel as bad!))

"There you go saying you died again!" Jistin shot back, accepting her friend's hand and hoisting herself up. Once her feet were solidly on the rooftop she turned to the white-haird girl. "You're not making any sense! You're right here! You look--" she paused momentarily, noting her old friend's single changed eye, "--mostly the same!" She took a breath to calm herself down before she started shouting again. "I just don't get it," the blonde isander sighed, "If you were still around, why didn't you tell someone? Tell me?" She had to admit, it stung a little knowing now that her dear friend had been among the stars the entire time and not told her she was ok after the whole fiasco with the Islands. They had been so close before and now...she got the feeling the white-haired girl just wanted her gone.

Zero crinkled her nose folding her arms over her chest. "How are they doing? Sora and Riku?" She asked clearly changing the subject. "Can't have been easy going from bopping all over the galexy saving planets and destroying evil to the average mundane life of school and homework." The mismatched eyes of the girl remanined in controled vacancy as her voice betrayed only what sounded like bored intrest.

'Wow, failer, Tsubasa.'

The former-islander winced slightly at the arrival of Phantoms voice in the back of her head.

'Kinda of an ironic name in hindsight.'

Jistin broke eye-contact with her old friend; obviously she didn't feel like talking right now. "They're fine," she mumbled, not showing much interest in the question either, she waved her hand absently, "Sora's got...Kairi to distract him and...yeah."

Anna look confused at him. "Of course. I promise I won't... I won't run away."

Anna stared at Hotaru with her month gaping open. She shook her head and looked back at him. "Was that what you had to use at the castle?" The words escaped her mouth before she realized it. She hoped Hotaru wouldn't discover or make of it.

Jistin looked at the white-haired girl again, expression confused and head tilted at an angle. "When was the last time you saw Riku?" the blonde's expression moved from confused to slightly suspicious, she sounded like she had seen Sora since his initial adventure among the worlds, and Riku too, so why was she out of the loop?
