((As you should. But I knew you couldn't have read over it that fast. And I'm pretty sure the not-looking-at-it is why "___WHATEVER CITY WE'RE IN___" wasn't changed.
Also, advance storyline plx?))

((No, I actually read that one.))
The sound of approaching footsteps alerted them to the arrival of more agents. Connor and Tiki grabbed the others and hit the floor, signaling for silence. The agents did not yet know where they were, but it was only a matter of time. Kurtis had two shots remaining.

"Clearly, we need to figure a way out of here," Connor said. "If we can break through their line, we can leave."

"Did someone say break through their line?" Kurtis asked, raising his kinetic rifle.

Connor chuckled softly. "I see you brought out the big guns. If you think you can get us out, then lead the way." He nodded encouragingly.

"Let's go. Guys who know how to aim, follow the guy who doesn't need to aim," Kurtis commanded, peeking out of the cubicle briefly.

Richard nodded. It took him almost half the time St. Cyrill was out to work up the courage to make the phone calls, a tenth to make the actual calls, and the last two fifths recovering from having to make that call. He wasn't sure how much to tell them, so he just told them everything; it would get out soon enough anyway, and if he lost his job, that was that. They needed to know.
Then St. Cyrill made some comment about the substance, some cousin, and something like that. He stood up and followed St. Cyrill out to listen.

((I might be a little lost, but I think I know where we are xp Now I just need to put a post-it note on my computer to remind me to visit Gaia more often instead of the other sites I go to in my spare time))
Esther just sat quietly, the moth still crawling about in her hand. Really, she hadn't gotten a good look at the substance she and Gray had been trying to get a hold of. But she supposed it couldn't be too differant from what the two men described. She glanced back down at her hand, moving her finger a few times, and then slid it inside the cavity where the moth was, mentally crossed her fingers, and brushed it against the insects legs.
It almost made her gag to think she was basically petting a bug, but she had to see if this was fixable. And sure enough, when she pulled her finger back out to look at it, it was back to normal. With a huge sigh of relief, she let the moth go, insect legs in tact.

[[ Okay, I'm going to vaguely estimate where everybody is.. ]]
Ly looked across the table to the younger woman. Her hair was blonde-brown, crimson streaks running through it, eyes enlarged by the glasses she wore. She seemed inexperienced, timid. Her silent profiling of this girl was interrupted by a sigh, and Ly shifted slightly, lowering the folder she held and sliding it onto the table. She also slipped tinged lenses over her own eyes, hiding away the ice blue. She couldn't pin it exactly, but mere seconds ago, something had shifted in the air, though she chose to dismiss it for now. It was not the time to dwell over hunches. "Liesel." She told her new partner, nothing showing through her placated tone and poker face.

((Oh, ok. I knew I was missing something xp ))
Esther jumped and looked at the other woman in surprise, "Oh, um. I'm Esther," she introduced herself a little shakily. She still wasn't completely over the moth incident. And great, more people who actually seemed to know what they were doing. Yes, it was a good thing, but she did tire of feeling so incompetent compared to those she worked with.
She paused a moment, pursing her lips, "It's...nice to meet you," she said finally.

Jokerman-EXE St. Cyrill sighed. "I've got some phone calls to make," he said to Richard. "The rules be damned, my men's - and yours - families deserve to know what happened. I'm going to tell them. Cover me." St. Cyrill stepped back out the door and pulled out his phone. He began to dial, then talk. After a long time, he came back in. "All right. That should do it on my end. It seems, however, that one of them knew about it. One of her cousins seems to have come into contact with a substance similar to the one I described. I'm gonna try to raised him now." He stepped back out and dialed. The phone of one Shikyo Maaka began to ring... Shikyo feet flew from the apparment couch in astonishment when the phone rang. His raven black hair folded over his spahire eyes as sweat began to form across his face. He wasn't naturally this paranoid but since he recieved that suitcase...he glanced over to the black armoured suitcase locked securely to withhold its contents. The dim lamp light illuminated the room and a sheet of darkness veiled the sky outside. He'd fallen asleep apartently. He shut off the television and snatched up the reciever. "Hello..." he said timidly. The former artist already knowing what this would be about and he checked his gun on the table beside him. How simple everything seemed now compared to the daily Yakuza wars outside his door step and the desperation and hopelessness of a single graduate in way over his head in the real world.
