Ifuuki's sharigan flared out and she fell forward onto Kenji. She was breathing heavly. She had used up much of her chakra in that unchecked use of her seemingly mutated sharingan. She grasped Kenji.

"I...don't...need...your....help..." Ifuuki said in between large gulps of air. It din't seem that way though as she leaned heavly into Kenji's chest.

Eiju had closed the gap that was the was the ocean inlet that seperated the land of water from the rest of the mainland easily through his shadow jutsu, streaming along the bottom of the inlet where shadows were abondant. ONce they were far inland, he came up out of the shadows, Kisei and Oneni still in the head lock position they had been when they entered, as people always did coming out of that jutsu.

Eiju let them out of it immediately and walked a short distance away and called out, "OK Yoma, I think we need to talk. Now that we have a minute or two before We need to move again. That water should slow Matsuda down no mater how fast she is, it may give a little breathing space. BUt what I want to say pertains to her and you. You see, when I took you out of that loony bin I was not intending on being chased around by both that unearthly strong woman and her unearthly stupid brother. Not to mention everyone seems to go on about you wanting to destroy, well, everyhting. To be blunt, this is not what I signed up for. Now I want assurances and want them now and they better be good and believable, or I might just make sure that Matsuda finds you before me or before you even get close to your prize. I would have no problem with it personally, you couldn't have even gotten out of there without me, so you really owe me. At first I thought you showing me where Ifuuki was would be enough repayment, but now I see you've gotten me into a lot more than a snatch and grab here. I want compensation, you'll find that compensation and compassion run vary closely in my work with people I don't know."

Eiju waited for Yoma to anwser, and if he didn't do it in a certain amount of time, one that Eiju had been counting down to since he stopped moving till when he knew they had to move again before they were caught. Before they had stopped he had sensed Matsuda, Ifuuki and Kenji moving toward him together, much faster than even Matsuda had been moving before, so he had little time for games or trickery. He had made it clear, either Yoma fessed up and did if very quickly, Eiju had one less charge to worry about.

From their position atop Matsuda's ample busoms, Kenji and Ifuuki could see the shoreline. They had made unbelievable time bused just on sheer speed. Four tiny dots could be seen of in the distance.

Kisei heard it before he saw it. He turned and spotted Matsuda's visage off in the distance closing in. She was gigantic, the trees barely clearing her knees. "I suggest you finish this up quickly." he said.

"Damnit," Eiju said as he saw the gaint Matsuda. "You better not be screwing me over Yoma," he said as he made rapid hand seals and recreated the shadow hopper jutsu and then said, "And leave Ifuuki alive, i still need her and I personally don't want her dead for other reasons as well." He made a second string of even more rapid seals as he grabbed Kisei and Oneni and again, his second jutsu, shadow control taking effect just as he finished his third set of seals and said, "Shadow portals" he said and a black circle appeared in front of them and they were 'sucked' into it.

only 50 feet away a portal opened and they began to come out, but just as that portal closed, another opened and they transfered to that one, all in a fraction of a second. This process repeated endlessly as they moved off much faster than even before, like performing rapid, short distance teleportation, something Eiju had found he could use that took much les energy than trying to use the same technique over much longer distances, and it moved him at least 10 times faster than his shadow hopper alone, the only evidence of the skill was the rapidly blinking black spots that began to move off into distance, Matsuda would have to match that speed."

"She's actually going to chase him like this? Don't you think we should split up to cover more ground?" Kenji was looking downwards and saw the shuriken being thrown.

Matsuda's shurkin struck exactly where is should have, any normal person would have been sectioned easily in half, but Eiju was not a normal ninja. Expescially so while he was made of shadows. As they were in the spil second transit between portals they were yes out in the open, but in no way sitting ducks. Just as the shurkin should have cleafed their shadow selves, they twisted and moved alonf the very shurkin itself, the side not facing the sun and therefore and easy place to slide along for a bunch of shadows, they jumped from the portal, through the shadowy side of the shurkin and into the next portal, only slowing down slightly becasue of the detour.

Damnit she's fast, I'll have to speed up even more Eiju used a little less restraint on his charka useage and there speed increase yet again.
