Cole chuckled at her comment.
"That's so true," he agreed before looking back up on the screen. He played the minigame fairly easily, though it wasn't one of the ones he was really good at.
"What difficulty level did you set them at?" he asked.

Damian smiled and his ears perked up immediately.
'That sounds lovely!' he replied, looking forward to some more milk. He jumped off the bed and followed her out the door, trotting fairly easily along beside her. His tail swished through the air as he padded along, glancing back up at Eve.

((I'm going to jump with Logan a bit since I haven't posted as him in a long time...Sorry Gabrielle, if you come back, we can improvise.))

Logan's eyes opened wearily. He had apparently fallen asleep grading papers the night before with his head laying down on his desk, for that was how he awoke. He blinked a few times to clear the sleep from his eyes before looking over at the digital clock next to his bed.
"Oh dear," he said aloud, realizing what time it was. He was usually in his classroom well before the students were, but it looked as if he had forgotten to turn his alarm on the night before.
He stood up quickly and almost knocked his chair over as he did so. He grabbed it quickly before it fell and ran into the bathroom. He took a very quick shower and got dressed back in his work clothing. His hair, being longer than most men, dripped on his shoulders and back. He quickly tied it up into a loose poneytail and looked at the time again. He still had some time before the students would arrive, but he still needed to eat something.
His eyes fell upon his desk at all the loose papers. He still hadn't finished grading them. He let out an exasperated sigh before walking over to them and picked them up. He stacked them into a neat pile and placed them neatly into a briefcase which he then latched up and took with him. He walked out the door to his room and swung out into the hallway.

"Huh?"

Cai was still tired, and it showed very easily on his face. Of course he hadn't gotten here until late, but that was beside the point. It was mostly that unless he was getting beaten for something, he couldn't remember ever getting up this early. He was one of those people who got up at the last minute and then rushed.

Of course, once what Kat said hit his mind, it didn't take long to give an answer of sorts.

"Oh. I don't remember if you promised one, but this place is very large, so it would be appreciated anyways. Besides, I can think of worse things that being escorted around the school by someone as beautiful as yourself."

Akido laughed a bit. She wouldn't have thought to use modesty but to each his own, and hey she had learned something new about him. As the wall disappeared, "I guess if you are dried out we can head out toward the front." She still hadn't the slightest idea of where to go from there but hopefully some idea would hit her. Ringing out her hair one last time she examined the color more closely letting it change to a more purple color than blue. She found it fun to play with her appearance since she could not show her own.

BJ laughed, "To bad that's kinda funny when that happens." Hearing they had some humans around didn't surprise her. She had met two of them so far and decided that one was a complete and utter b***h and she was pretty sure the second was a bimbo. Scooping up some more berries in her mouth she hoped she could go back to human form soon. She was happy she changed properly but being forced wasn't appealing.

Circe just smirked, "Ya but if you let him do that then you will never find out what I am selling." Taking the goggles from around her neck she slipped off the clasp that was about the size of a nickel. "See this. Its the same technology I traded you a few years ago. Only difference is this is more powerful and a more convenient size. It's transportable, sturdy and able to click onto anything. The power supply life is about 7 days. No half life to worry about. Then if you make me a really good deal, I've developed it into a liquid solution that can other be either injected for a better effect or just hose them in it. It was made to be absorbed quickly through the skin just in case it doesn't penetrate. The best part is, it takes less than a drop for complete effect." Ok so maybe Circe was a bit proud of herself but she was still holding back. Depending on what she could get for these depended on whether she would tell them about her real toys she had been working on.

Dmitri shook his hair out once more before glancing over to the exit.
"Sure," he said before heading for the door. He could tell that his hair was quite messy, though that didn't make much of a difference to him. His hair was often messy. He usually just said it was the 'style' he wore it in, though that was just an excuse. He just didn't bother brushing it in the morning. Most people seemed to believe him, anyway.
He got to the door and pushed his back against it, pushing it open. He stood in front of it, holding it open as he glanced over to Akido.
"My hair is going to take a while to dry still..." he said, ruffing his hand around in it in front of his forehead.

Luna shrugged, "I think I set them on normal/medium, but don't quote me on that please. I don't think I'm very good at this one either." They were playing the snowball on the roof minigame.

Eve picked up Damian, "I know cats like naps and I don't want to wear you out too much so I'll carry you." They got to the cafeteria and Eve ordered a huge bowl of milk for him, one of the biggest they did.
The lunch ladies mentioned something about a cute cat and Eve petted Damian's head, "He is very cute, in both forms...." She blushed, "s**t I didn't mean to say that outloud...." She put him on the table and buried her head in her plate trying to stop blushing.

Kat smiled at Cai, "Okay, well where would you like to start? We have 3 stories, and a basement, the towers and very large grounds." She walked up the steps to stand next to him on the balcony, where she looked him in the eye and waited for a response, a soft smile on her face at the compliment he gave her.

Cole shrugged lightly as he continued to bash buttons.
"I'll be sure to remember that..." he said as he stared at the screen. What time it was didn't even occur to him. He had completely forgotten about school at that point.

Damian purred as her hand swept over his head. He didn't pay much attention to her comment, for it didn't quite occur to him what she had meant. He wasn't the first person to pick up on those types of things...
When they went back to the table, he quickly set off lapping up the milk. He felt like he was being spoiled. He had had milk the day before and was now having more. In fact, this bowl of milk was possibly the biggest he had ever had. Perhaps he could get some tuna for lunch.....
He glanced up after a few moments, licking the dripping milk off of his fur.
'How's your food?' he asked her.

Logan let out a sigh as he walked into the lobby. He would slip into the cafeteria, get something small, and eat while he finished grading papers. He hated being late, but he was definitely running later than usual that morning. He was usually done grading papers at that point, or was at least in the class doing it already.
He stepped into the cafeteria and got a cereal bar and a banana. He grabbed a carton of milk, figuring it would probably be the easiest thing to drink while grading papers, and a straw before heading back for the door.

Yep, this place was sounding very, very big. A lot bigger than he'd realized last night probably, and last night he'd thought the place was huge. With such a wide area to cover, he knew very well that they probably wouldn't see everything in one day, but it would likely be a start. Unfortunately, he didn't know where to even start with.

"Uh...since I know nothing about this place, why don't you just show me what you think would be most interesting? You're the tour guide, after all."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 05, 2009 5:59 pm

Lisa walked from where ever she was to the cafeteria to grab a doughnut. She couldn't help but eat one after she finished reading a Steph Plum book. One the way in she saw Logan, "Hey Logan working hard? I know it's not easy being the teacher and the doctor, but be glad we don't call you Nurse Logan." She giggled to herself and ate her doughnut when she sat down at one of the tables, noticing Lucas and BJ.

Lucas nodded, "I'll try and find Circe for you and tell her to take the bracelet off. I can't really threaten her cause she has the money and the smarts to live else where. But I'll try my hardest for you." He picked up a bunch of berries and put them in BJ's palm before looking over a waving at Lisa.

Kat laughed, "I'm a tour guide? Well if I had to pick my favorite place it would have to be either the hot springs, or the gardens. Probably the Gardens because I'm the one who grows the flowers there and keeps it beautiful and weed free." She started to walk back down stairs, "Why don't we stay inside and I'll show you the pool. Class will start in about an hour. It's not required to go but it helps train your powers so some go when they have nothing to do. I go just cause mum will yell at me if I don't, even though I have my power mostly under control."

Eve smiled and picked him back up with a plot in mind, "My food was amazing, how about your milk?" She was scratching him behind his ears and she was one of the few who didn't go to class, mostly cause she didn't have powers. She made her was out the front door and was enjoying the sunlight and the morning air.

Liza straightened up and paid attention, "How much do you want for the clasps and the liquid combined?" She liked the idea because it could also help if they had to go to the school, at least there they'd have protection from anyone attacking.

Luna smirked, "Oh yeah you going to use that against me?" She side-stepped closer to Cole and carried on trying to escape the snowballs. She soon lost and her character slid off the roof. She wasn't sure if this was flirting because in all honesty she hadn't really talked to a boy before excluding relatives and they didn't count.

Logan looked up when he heard his name called and smiled seeing Lisa. He paused and did his best go keep everything in his arms.
"Yes, I'm trying," he said with a small laugh. "And thank you for that. I'm sure that's probably a nickname for me by some of the students who dislike me."
He paused and thought for a short moment before letting out yet another small laugh.
"I don't know what would be better....Nurse Logan or Nurse Sykes."

Damian nodded his head before lightly pushing against her hand.
'It was, thank you,' he replied, standing up. He licked his paw and began going through the process of cleaning his face. His had a bit of milk dripping from the fur around his mouth which always happened. It was a bit of a pain but he had gotten used to it. It was more enjoyable as a cat to drink milk.

Cole gave a small, mischievous smile, though he doubted she could see him. They both seemed to be concentrating on the game, after all.
"Perhaps I will," he said, continuing through the minigame and landing in second. After he had lost, he glanced over slightly to see Luna closer to him so he stepped closer by a bit. He swung his arm down as if he were doing something with the wiimote and hit her arm.
"Oops," he said, rather obvious that it was on purpose.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 08, 2009 4:57 pm

Luna smirked and turned to look at Cole, her character had fallen off the roof now anyway, "Oops? Really." She said it with such a sarcastic tone that even a deaf person could have heard the sarcasm. She moved her arm ever so slightly and then went to raise the controller to go to the board again and her arm interlocked with Cole's, "Oops." She smiled at him and unhooked her arm so she could hit the dice.

Damian was too busy licking the milk off his face to notice the fact that Eve was in front of the hot springs. She climbed over the barrier and sat in the water, Damian still in her arms, but his back end soon hit the water.

Cole looked first down to Luna's arm before looking up at her, smiling. He slowly shook his head as he hit the dice.
"Can't keep your hands off me, eh?" he said, the smile still on his face. He was teasing her. For the most part, at least. He knew he was the one who started it, but he couldn't pass up that opportunity.

Unexpected. The water had caught Damian so off guard that he let out what could have only been described as a yowl. If he hadn't been in the water, his tail would have puffed up while the fur on the back of his neck bristled. His ears were pressed flat against his head as he automatically lifted his head up away from the water as much as possible.
'Ai! The water is hot!' his mind yelled as he tried to calm his now doubled heartbeat.

"What do you mean about people with powers anwyays? I mean, can you really do all that stuff? I heard people talking about it at school, but I always thought they were just stupid rumors, and I've never really had the chance to learn too much about everything..."

Which was actually completely honest. Yes he had powers of his own, but he hadn't ever gotten the opportunity to learn about others with them...being locked in his room at home, and he was an outcast while at school, so...yeah.

"Actually though, I'd enjoy seeing the gardens, especially if you're the one who takes care of them. I'm kind of curious as to what it'll be like."

BJ nodded greatful, “If nothing else you can tell her I will eat her if she doesn’t take it off. That’s not really a threat. More like a promise.” Though she tried to avoid smiling as a bear she couldn’t help it. Thinking about how she had class in a bit, that was going to be a little annoying if they didn’t find Circe first but she figured she could use her original thread. Anyone says anything then she would bite them. Looking at the clock, “I think I am going to make one last Circe run before class. Thanks though.” Getting up she walked away from the table and headed outside.

Circe grinned, she loved doing business especially since the government paid so well, or when the American’s didn’t, someone one else always would. “Well lets see, last time you gave me 2mil for the creation and you keep your distance. So I suppose 5 Million for both, and before you have a fit, that includes a copy of the schematics, and you stay away from me. My work place is off limits or I blow up everything I have created and that includes all the pretty little clasps your people will be wearing.”

Checking the time, “I have a bear to tazer and I don’t know I might actually go to class today.”

Akido grinned, “I don’t think anyone will notice to horribly. If you don’t want to head outside just yet we can cut through the cafeteria to get a snack.” Despite having just come from the cafeteria a couple hours ago, Akido was hungry but she never gained weight. Insanely high metabolism was one of the many great side effects of what she was. Thinking it through it wouldn’t take them that much longer and they could still meet up with Marcus, assuming he didn’t have to do teaching stuff. Even if he did, she was looking forward to his class, and Logan’s as well. Neither seemed to get irritated at her million questions.

Dmitri shrugged his shoulders, cocking his head to the side slightly.
"Sure, vhy not?" he said, his accent slipping through a bit more than before. It was almost time for classes to start, so he figured he probably should eat something.
"You know," he added. "Ve have class soon. Ve probably don't have time to much else."
He didn't really care if he went to class with wet hair or not. He figured it wouldn't matter much anyway. He had stayed up most of the night again, though he slept a bit before coming downstairs.
