after a few hours of driving Zack finally woke up. he yawned and strecthed. several joints in his arms and back poped loudely. "that felt good." he sighed as he rubbed his neck. he looked out the window curiously. "hmm never been here before." he said to himself as he noted any landmarks for future refrence. "any idea where we are." he asked to no one in particular

"We're about 30 clicks from the canyon." Kay said around lighting another cigarette.

Never knew there was a canyon out this way." he said thought fully as he started memorizing the lay of the land in case he came throught here again someday.

"You wouldn't" Kay commented taking a puff of her cigarette. "It's not on any maps and on satilite it just shows up as a blank spot." she took another puff of her cigarette. "That's where it all started..."

"We're heading for a base that Sarg knows of. Gonna hide out most of us there while the rest go with Kay to kill off the puppet Master." She said in one breath as she flexed her shoulders. "Trade spots with me, my turn to relax."

"sure" said Zack as he switched with Kimmi. "so who is this puppet master guy and why do we want him to be wiped out." he asked with intrest. he rummaged through a pocket and found a candy bar. "forgot that was in there." he muttered as he offered some to every one.

Kimmi shook her head and pulled a pack of twizzlers from her pouch at her side. Munching on one she opened her book and started to read ignoring his question and figuring Kay would answer it better than she could.

Kay leaned back as she smoked her cigarette. "The puppet master is the one who started all this s**t. He's responsible for the dead coming back..." she puased taking another puff of her cigarette. "And he's responsible for me..."

he knew he was treading danrerous ground with this prying but he asked anyway. "what do you mean by responsible for you, and the zombies." he started chewing on the candy bar, watching the traffic in front while watching Kay in the mirror.

Kay sighed. "The guys a f**king scientist! He created the virus and then as some sort of sick experiment kidnapped me and changed me to be some sort of f**king zombie killer extreme!" she took another puff of her cigarette trying not to get angry.

"well then count me in for the mission to kick this guys butt." he said with a smile. taking another bite from his candy bar and letting the carmel string out. He glanced out the front window and hit the brakes. After nearlly hitting the guy in front of him and flying throught the window himself he shouted angerly "HEY WHYD YOU STOP ALL OF A SUDDEN"

Fillup stopped the convoy all of a sudden, staring at the land before him "What the hell?" he asked the air, looking upon a cragy, barren, and dusty terrain before him. He kicked the door open and got out, standing on the edge of the sand, for it disappeared as it met the solid rock. He kicked the ground and cursed loudly, throwing his hands up and stomping around. There were canyons, many of them, more than even they could search.
Fillup spi out his gum, wondering if he should just wait for the dead-heads to find them.

Kimmi groaned as she rubbed her head where it had slammed into the windshield. She got out and stumbled towards bubbles a little unsteady from the blow. "Whats going on? Why did we........stop?" Her eyes widened at the site before her. "Wow. We should start scouting asap and see if we can find the base."

Fillup let his string of curses go unimterupted, though he did hear Kimmi's question. He kicked the sand and paced, from the looks of the terrain, the trucks couldn't get through that land.
He sighed, his anger at the ill-luck spent "Well, Sarg might have an idea of where it is..." he frowned and kicked oen of the rocks poking out of the sand.

"Don't think so sport." Kay said patting the new guy on the shoulder and getting out. She moved forward to where Bubbles was. Kay looked around, she had been here before...(Get ready for a burst of memory)
Kay's breathe was knocked out of her. They were driving... It was hot... The land went on for miles... Crying, huddled in a corner...Were's my mommy? I want mamma...A slap of pain...A shadow standing over her. Shut up you little brat...Another shadow pulls the other away. Stop that. The doctor wants her unharmed...
Kay stumbled off. Heading toward on of the canyons. Regaining her breath she stopped at one towards the middle and pointed to the canyon floor. "I think we've found the place..." she muttered, pulling out another cigarette.
