Taro let out a horrified squawk at the sudden loud noise and subsequent attack of the chainsaw. However, once able to escape the tree he spied the devil creature attached to the apparently screaming, toothy monstrosity that freed him. Unsure about the person's nature to have such a vicious thing for an arm, the crow flew to a neighboing tree safely out of the reach before taking a mostly human form. Once settled into his body the red headed guy he turned into took the liberty to thank his savior.
"Are you MAD!" he shrieked in outrage, throwing a few handfuls of leaves towards the thing.

Mahi put away the chainsaw.
"Whoa, whoa, hold on, Harvey Birdman! I'm not trying to hurt you! I used that to free you! Calm down! These leaves are itchy...."

Overlooking the strange disappearance of such a monsterious appendage, Taro contenued his protest.
"Help me into the grave you mean, you horrible-" the tengu stopped and inspected the fallen tree for a moment, his black wings ruffling at the sight, " lunitic! Monster! Murderer!"
He flew down next to the remaining stump and begain to examine it with great care, then ripped out some grass and returned to throwing it at the girl in place of leaves as he bombarded her with various insults. It should be noted that throwing fistfull of grass at people with his unkempt hair and tattered state of dress he looked to be the lunitic.

Mahi sighed.
"Listen, if you want, I'll plant five trees in place of it."
She rolled back her sleeve, and one of her tails flicked.
"Honestly, what did you expect me to do? Watch with sadistic amusement as you writhed inside off it? Seriously ,think about this rationally. It was the only thing to do!"

Caleb heard someone screaming profanities and generally, disturbing him. He got up and walked out to the courtyard. "What in the burning hells is going on out here?" His voice was hinted with anger.

Daniel heard some loud screaming from outside, he ran over to the source, and found two people arguing over a fallen tree. " What happened here?! "

Mahi turned to Caleb, not noticing Daniel.
"I help him out, and now he's screaming at me for hurting his tree or something! I thought it was just a big bird, not a bird-man! Now I don't know how I'll get all this grass and leaves out of my hair... urgh."
She realized that she was in her true form, and froze slightly.
"Errr..."

"How dare you try to bribe me, unworthy mortel!" he gasp with offence as he pointed accusingly at the girl. "I should rend each limb from your body for attacking my great forest!" At this his nails extended into sharp claws. It was only the sudden male voice laced with rage that made him pause. Turning, Taro saw him(Caleb), and at once redirected his own outrage "Is this your woman?" he hissed. "If so, prehaps you're the one I should punish." He then turned to the other man that had encroached, "Or prehaps she's yours?" he sneered, sizing up the third male.

Mahi growled.
"Hey, I don't know who you are, or what you think of me, but my fox ears and tails should point out to you that I'm no mortal! I'm Mahi-Mahi, second child of the god Ridley, and grandchild of God!"
She rolled up her other sleeve.
"Don't make me angry! and this is a school campus, not your 'great forest'."

"Well, nasty little son of a c**t you are." Caleb thrusted his right arm forward, and a scalpel with an odd 5 inch blade came to his hand. "You are you prepared to feel what it is like to be skinned alive?"

Mahi backed away by a couple inches, and her ears flattened against her head.
"Dang! Go-Go-Gadget-I'll-Kill-You-Painfully. Eep..."
She looked up at the tengu.
"Uh, Mr. Birdman, I'd... apologize. I implore you. Or you'll become KFC, and fed to starving children in Africa."[[wait, what?]]

"It saddens me to think that higher beings could sink so lowly, and that one so low dare insult my forested domain," the bird-man spat at Mahi's report, "not even a decent chest to make up for it ." he muttered off handedly. Turning to armed man, his anger quickly faded to one of intense worry. "You, remove yourself at once." he ordered, with small hope the man was a coward.
