Synne pouted at her father and turned away from him with a huff
Ro raised an eyebrow at her daughter but stayed silent for the moment. Synne knew she was on thin ice...
((Gtg downstairs and look through stuff again... ugh..))

"Alright," Arcanon scooped up the baby and headed downstairs.
Azaroth sighed. For a moment, he'd thought he was in the wrong house. Big family gathered for a meal - it was frightening, but almost nice. But with a second look he could see as predicted, Synne was mad at him, Valzar and Saber were fighting, and Proteus was just watching them all seeming quiet amused...yeah, just another normal day.

Erian smiled as they went downstairs but frowned nervously when they entered the kitchen "Morning..." he said quietly
Ro sighed and poked Az "Relax she'll get over it." And gave Erian a smile "Morning... sleep well?"
He nodded, still observing everyone else warily.
Synne gave him a half-hearted wave and went back to pouting

Arcanon set Erian down beside Synne and took the seat on the other side of him, "Wow...someone's been busy this morning."
Lilah smiled pouring the heated water into two prepared cups, "I hope you guys like it. Valzar and I didn't know what everyone would like so we tried to make a little bit of everything." She handed one cup to Rowena and the other to Azaroth. "And if everyone's here, I guess you guys can go ahead and eat."
Saber grinned, "Alright!" He snatched up several of the treats, as an after thought, placing a few on Synne's plate. "Go on, try them, they look pretty good."

Erian blinked at all the food "Wow..." He was a bit overwhelmed... not sure what to take.
Ro took the tea and gave Lilah and small smile "thanks.." She sat down and took a few things to eat
Synne looked down at her plate and gave Saber a smile "Ok.. thank you." and started to nibble at the food.

"What do you want to try?" Arcanon asked Erian gently even as he picked up a few things for himself.
"Trust me, eat up," Saber whispered to her. "You never know when you'll get a real meal around here..."
Valzar shook his head, "You know, Saber - you could learn to cook. It's not that hard..."
"Yeah, but cooking's a girly thing..." Saber flashed a grin at the annoyed Valzar.
Azaroth shook his head and sipped on his tea as he watched the boys, secure in the knowledge that some things would never change...

Erian shrugged "I don't know...."
Synne smiled and shook her head "No its not.. Mommy can't cook at all and shes a girl." She grinned slyly "Besides... I've heard girls are VERY impressed when they meet a guy who can cook..."
Ro glanced at Lilah "This is very good. You two did a lot better than I ever could.."

"Well," Arcanon picked up a few more things and nudged his plate over so he was sharing it with Erian. "Try some, see what you like."
Saber laughed, "Not the type of girls I hang out with. They like a man who can handle a sword."
"Then why are they spending time with you?" Proteus asked smirking.
"Thank you," Lilah smiled taking her own seat. "I don't know much, but I do know my way around a kitchen."

"Okay..." He tried a small piece of everything Arc had and shrugged "I'm full now..."
Synne giggled "You could use your sword skills in the kitchen! Think of all the fancy moves you could do on meat and vegetables!"
Ro shrugged "I've never been able to get a handle on the whole cooking thing.. so its impressive to me." She drained her tea cup and rose to get herself another cup

"Oh, come on," Saber groaned. "That's just Lame..."
"I don't know..." Proteus grinned. "We could start calling you the samurai chef."
"I'd be happy to show you some things," Lilah said watching her. "I've been teaching Valzar, it would be no trouble..."

Ro thought for a moment but shook her head "Thats ok... you have enough to deal with... and I have to start catching up on some of my work anyway."

"Alright, but if you change you mind..." Lilah smiled. "I don't have much to do around here during the day." She glanced over at Azaroth, "Aren't you going to sit down eat something?"
"No, I'm fine," Azaroth said setting his cup on the counter. "I have some work of my own I should be dealing with..."
