well i think she is strong just not really confident in her abilities. specially since byakuya basically held her back in order to protect her. so in failing to get a seated position she kinda figured she must suck >,< she was strong enough to go on a mission to earth by herself for a few months in order to kill hollows ;p

That's kinda why I want to see her do something! We've seen what Renji can do because I don't think he could've learned much since his last fight.

Holy crap, check out the raw or wait for the sub before you look at this whiteness because Rukia is in the new chapter, finds one of the espada arrankar, and it's Kaien. @_@

i totally was avoiding looking at this thread cuause i thought it'd be about the huge a** spoiler in 262 >,< needless to say, i went and dled it cause i couldnt not give into my curiousity. it was freaking awesome @_@ i was like 'whoa!' when i saw that arrancar that looks like kaien cause we dunno if its him or not ;p cause rukia did bring back his body to his family @_@ so i dunno. rukia will get her a** handed to her cause i read that he's supposedly the number 9 arrancar. aka muy fuerte.
did you watch the new bleach ep? they wasted like 15-20 seconds on kitty eating @_@ it was so wasteful. that and where the hell did all the students go when renji and company showed up!?!?! and they made rukia's reentrance not as cool as the manga ;*( *plots to go reread the manga*

There are some interesting theories on the Kaien arrankar. They basically boil down to SS having to split the hollow and shinigami souls apart, and remnants of each side remained. That would explain Ichigo's hollow, and why this arrankar looks like Kaien. That's assuming that they used to both be Kaien anyway.
I was totally thinking the same thing with Kitty eating. ><;; I was sitting there like, "Ok! Enough already!"

ugh. i hate the entire 'ichigo is kaien reincarnated' theory >,< its like saying that ichigo really isnt ichigo he's just someone else. and rukia was only drawn to him cause he's kaien. and i think thats just wrong! i mean people look like other people all the time and its not like there's a huge thing about it. maybe aizen went out to where they buried kaien and took him ;p cause aizen is evil ya know.

Well I think the Kaien reincarnated theory kinda makes sense within the world of Bleach since people get reincarnated. ;p

i thought you were going to gossip about it! my rando-theory of the day: i think that kaien is kinda like ichigo in the way there's him and the hollow inside. cause he seemed completely normal while just talking to rukia. then when he attacks her, there's like two speech bubbles. so its like there's anothing being inside. it just sucks that the evil one decides to play when kaien is doing his best to be nice? or else its one big mind ******** >,<
