Mordranna absorbed Cale's words with interest. "I played it some myself when I was a little girl. Though, once I enrolled in the academy, I put all my dreams on the back-burner. Serve the galaxy, help people in need, and all that." she pensively offered, with a mild pained expression. "I would like to do that again someday." And, I wish to have a galaxy that can be free to enjoy it, Her tone then lightened. "It's a lovely instrument."

Cale nodded. "Academy? You were in the Imperial Spacy? and do you by chance know the Real Folk Blues?"

Mordranna merely nodded at Cale's first question. "Yes. A little tour on an Imp Star, though I won't bore you with the details." She then shook her head. "And, I don't think I know of the Real Folk Blues, I'm afraid."

Cale shrugged. "Thats ok. I doubt many people do. So what ship did you serve on and where was your tour?" He asked, interested now that he knew she served in space.

"It's been so long," Mordranna replied, noting Cale's interest. "I served aboard the ISD Crusader, and toured by way of Tatooine, Bespin and Coruscant. And," she added hesitantly, "I was also ice-side for Hoth, thanks to Ozzel's tactical blunder," she continued, spitting out Ozzel's name as though it were a vile curse.

"Oh Really? I was at Endor." Cale said smuggly."Flew a fighter on the Death star assault. So What did you do at hoth? drive a walker?"

I was at Endor, too. thought Cajin, as he stood silently. But, he didn't ask, and I don't think really feel like talking about it. he thought to himself. Mordranna's looking uncomfortable...guess she doesn't want him to know she was a stormtrooper of something...
"Huh. I was at Endor too; I was a groundpounder there." Well, I guess that's vague enough.

"Oh, so you were there too? with Han's boys?" Cale asked of Cajin.

Mordranna forced a smile. "Nothing as exciting as that. I was one of the ground pounders on Hoth. I felt bad for the Republic, but still, I had to admire their ingenuity," she chimed in, her smile becoming more real and warm. She then shook her head. "I remember having a chat with a Republic pilot at that time. It made me think about what I was doing at the time. And, it made me ask myself some hard questions about myself and the Empire around the time of Endor." Shaking her head, she answered, "No, I was at Coruscant at that time. I remember hearing cheers when word of Palpatine's death came. And, truth be told, I think that I even smiled beneath my helmet,"

Cale nodded as she talked, thing to himself that he wasn't aware they used standard imperial soldiers on hoth. he thought they used snowtroopers. Ah well. you learn something new everyday. The Helmit remark got the point across to him he visibly twitched as the thought Oh Sith crossed through his mind. "er, you where a snoman weren't you?" he said a tad uneasily.

Mordranna blinked her large sky blue eyes. "Snowman?" she asked, pausing as she made the connection. "Oh, stormtrooper!" She nodded to him with equal unease. "Uh, yeah." she sheepishly admitted. She awkwardly looked to Cale. "No love for the Empire, I take it?" she asked him, hoping to put as much cheer and friendliness into her tone.

"well yeah. They killed my family, my first love and a ton of my friends." he stared at her chest with confusion. "that part just plain baffles me." he said with a point.

Mordranna merely sighed. To be sure, she could understand Cale's frustration. But, what specifically baffled him? She took his hand in hers in the most gentle gesture, and stared into his eyes. "Cale, I would like to ask you something." She hoped to the Force for the wisdom and insight needed for her situation. "Cale ... is everyone whom was ever in the Empire truly evil?" she asked, allowing him to absorb her words before continuing. "Is Han Solo not a hero of Correlia? Was he not a member of the Empire at one time?" she firmly asked, but not without compassion.

"I never said I hated them with the passion of a Zealot. I just don't like them. It isn't worth my time to hunt down every imp in existance for vengance. And don't bring up Han. he owes me a favor." He continued to stair at her chest in confusion. "Now you're sure you were a stormtrooper?"

Mordranna merely nodded. "Yes ... I was," she said, putting emphasis on the past tense. "Well, I guess that I should be going now, yes?" she awkwardly asked him, just before turning to walk away.
