Ryuu catches up to Night without much effort at all. He seemed to jog alongside her. "You are pretty fast," Ryuu mocks with a light laugh. Ryuu and Night make it to town before long. Ryuu is barely out of breath upon arriving. He spots a woman crying out front of a collapsed building and makes his way over to her. "What's happened?" Ryuu appears beside the woman with a worried expression. He seems to slip his hand onto the woman's back with one hand and prop her up by the elbow with his other. The woman--with beautiful white hair and hazel eyes-- stares at Ryuu. She grips him by the collar and struggles to speak. "Is there someone in the building?" The woman continues to struggle to speak. "Please, you have to bring yourself to speak. Lives may be in danger." The woman cries out but says nothing. "Mam, please."

"My grand.... grandchildren! They we-were inside during th-th-the attack. I-"

"How many?" The woman struggles to hold up four fingers to Ryuu. Ryu's face becomes pale as he looks to the collapsed building. "Are there others?"

"Seven others... i-it's an apartment building," she cries as Ryuu guides the woman to Night.

"Watch over her. I'm going in. I will ask that you do not follow. I mustn't let harm come to you. I said I'd protect you. Please stay here and tend to the woman. She seems to be worked up and has cuts, bruises, and burns. You are skilled. I know you can do it." Ryuu glances at the building as he hands the woman over to Night. He looks back to night with saddened eyes, he wondered if he might be too late, and then he rushes at the building. Upon plowing through a cracked window a crash, thud, and pop is heard and then silence.

Four people crawl out of the open window where Ryuu had entered. Many were injured badly but could walk. They stumble around in confusion as cries come from the building. An old man who had no hair with brilliant brown eyes; a teenage girl with blond hair that flowed down her back and blue eyes; a teenage boy with choppy black hair and red eyes; a young girl with white hair tugged into Pig Tails and beige eyes. The old woman on the bench cries out as the young girl gazes around unaware even that someone had called her. She was in shock. The old woman scrambles over to the girl and kneels in front of her. "Neena," she cries and the girl turns to face her. They both begin to cry as more people emerge from the wreckage. A young boy with pale beige eyes and short white hair; a middle aged woman with long, curly red hair and green eyes; a man with short brown hair and silver eyes. The old woman climbs to her feet and drags the tiny girl with her to meet up with the young white haired boy. The boy struggles to clean his eyes when the old woman grabs his hands. "Don't rub them Roen," whimpers the old woman. People begin getting their relatives as the woman that Night had spoken with and her two children wait impatiently for Ryuu to emerge. Was he all right? Would he make it to Night in time? Would he be able to? A loud bang and the building crumbles more. The cry of Ryuu is heard and people begin to scream. A loud crash fills the air as the window where Ryu had gone is blown out. The window collapses under the weight of the collapsed building, blocking off Ryu's entrance and exit. Minutes pass before groans come from the building. Crying is heard as a door is flung high into the air. Two small children, twins, emerge from the doorway and run towards the gathered crowd of people. Girls with steel gray hair that flowed down to the back of their knees and hazel eyes. An old woman struggles to crawl from the doorway as the door comes crashing down harmlessly atop a fallen wall of the building. People seemed to hold their breath as silence befalls the area.

"Ryuu," cries one of the children, the boy, that Night had saved. After a moment Ryuu comes crawling out of the doorway clutching a tiny bundle. He seems to stand a moment before collapsing to his knees. He does not release the bundle even a little. The middle aged woman with red hair and green eyes who had come from the window Ryuu had entered rushes over to him. She cries inaudible things as she takes the bundle from Ryuu, tears streaming down her face. A baby; the only audible word was baby. Ryuu places both hands to the ground and coughs as he looks around for a brunette with deep green eyes but he cannot find her. He looks to the old woman that had informed him of the trapped people to see the brunette wasn't with her. He asked her to stay. Had something happened to her? Was she needed by someone?

"Night," he mutters bringing himself to stand. He notices a woman and two children waving their hands and trying to get his attention. He didn't remember them. He tugs his bow from the wreckage and rushes over to them. Once there he winces from injuries he had sustained. They weren't too bad but they did hurt.

"She's in the forest!" Ryuu stares down at the boy before looking to his mother.

"Your friend Night saved my children but was pinned... by a tree in the forest." As soon as Ryuu heard the part about Night being pinned he figured out what happened to her from what the boy had been saying and rushes off before the woman can say more.

"Night," he calls as he stumbles around in the forest. So many fallen trees and so few places he could step without walking atop one. What if she was under one he stepped on... and he crushed her? "Ni-" He starts, spotting her. He flings himself forward and pries the tree from atop her with all his remaining strength. He breathes hastily as he tosses the tree aside and lifts Night into his arms from upon the ground. He was tired but he promised he'd protect her and that gave him strength. He makes his way back to town and sets her down on the bench that the old woman now sat on. "Are you... Are you all right?" Ryuu asked her breathlessly as he knelt before her. His first rescue and he was already tired. He fights back his tired feeling and begins examining Night. Any injury she had sustained he would patch up with her supplies. Once done he stands from her. Ryuu wipes sweat and blood from his forehead. "Rest here. I'm going to tend to the others." Ryuu smirks and touches his index finger to Night's forehead, "Don't disappear on me again." He chuckles and then races over to the injured people not too far from the bench Night is on.

"Very independent, right?" Ryuu seemed to smile widely as he laughed as soon as Night finished up with the other remaining villagers. Ryuu found himself most preoccupied with the grandson of the old woman. The boys eyes were badly damaged, beyond rookie medic repair. He would have to be taken to Hidden Leaf immediately. Just when Ryuu ponders over if he should leave now or try and aid others a crowd of people motion into the area. "Thank you both for all of your help. Night and Ryuu, I, the Hidden Grass Kage am eternally in your debt. My men will take over the rescue and medical efforts from here. Thank you both so very much."

"It was nothing," states Ryuu standing upward. He does the exact same bow that he had upon meeting Night as the Grass Kage breathes in sharply. "Are you... are you that Persian boy?"

"I apologize for my rudeness but I must take this oung boy to Konoha. If I do not hurry he may become... blind." The grandmother cries out as her grandchildren begin to cry. Others gasp and curse that this has happened as the Kage slips a hand through the air. Silence follows.

"Very well. Perhaps you can return. I would much like for us to sit and chat." Ryuu nods before tugging his bow over his head.

"Night, please take those twins into your arms. I am sorry to rush you off so soon after you were injured but... this boy needs help. I will carry the boy, his sister, and the old woman." Ryuu kneels as the old woman climbs onto his back. He lifts the young boy and places him onto one shoulder then lifts the girl and places her on his other. "Let's go," he calls out racing towards the docks.

"That smells heavenly," states Ryuu grinning happily as he strolls behind Night. How did Ryuu find her? How did he get into her house? It was all thanks to Sai that Ryuu found Night's home and got inside. That was the power of the Ichazuki. Gathering of information. But where was said Ichazuki? Wait. Night hadn't made anything to eat yet. So what could smell heavenly? In the kitchen of Night's home would be Sai preparing food. White rice, fried rice, shrimp fried rice, beef fried rice, fish, etc. Anything Chinese food related was being prepared by Sai. Sai turns his head slightly and smiles at night and Ryuu before returning to making food for Night. "We apologize for suddenly appearing in your home like this. But I was worried about your safety. I mean, we have returned to Hidden Grass. I promised I'd protect you in my time here. So I had to follow you. All thanks to Sai. He's a very interesting person." Ryuu notices the hairpins in Night's hands and Sai laughs.

"Were you frightened?" Sai asks as he begins fixing a plate for Night. The two of them made it seem okay that they had broken into her house and rummaged through her cabinets to make her food.

Rem believed that Fuka freak to be right. Why should she remain in a classroom where the teacher didn't even come? She might as well go back to doing things as she always had; her way. As soon as Rem gets off of her boat from Hidden leaf, she heads home. Slowly she notices destruction from an attack and runs towards home. It wasn't that she was scared; she doesn't get scared. It wasn't that she was worried; she could care less about her parents. It wasn't that she could see where her house had fallen down a few blocks away; because she hated that house. Then why was she running so feverishly? Why were her vibrant violet eyes darting around at the different faces all around? Why was she running at the fastest pace she could? Was it because she did care? Finally reaching her home, Rem looks around slowly. Where was her mother and father? Where were the many children that resided in her house? Where was the person responsible for this? Rem's hands clench into a fist at her sides. The Hishou Souken sways lightly on her back, tearing away at the leaves that were her clothing slowly. When she finally notices, the winds of her blade growing so strong that she is cut on the cheek, she calms herself. Her blade was responding to her emotions. She was furious beyond words. Had her family been killed? Who had the right? Rem crosses her arms beneath her breasts, ruffling the leaves that barely covered her breasts. Her fingers, covered by long purple gloves, tapped at her arms as her metal covered boots, also made with grass and leaves, did the same. She would calm herself before asking around about her home.

Ryuu stares at night in utter surprise. He would have thought she would be happy to see him but apparently not. Ryuu ponders over what Night had asked him. "You have a place to stay right?" No, he actually didn't but he would suffice. Ryuu's surprised expression returns to his happy one as he walks towards the door, Sai straggling behind him. "I suppose you no longer need me. I'll leave you alone if that is what you want." Ryuu looks at Night for a moment before looking at Sai who was staring at Night in slight amusement.

"If I went to Hidden Mythology in the the Federation, would Sienna be able to find us?"

"Easily," Sai responds to Ryuu as the two of them slink towards the dense grass. "Fare the well Night."

"Yes. Good bye for a while. Take care," calls out Ryuu before Sai darts off, faster than either Ryuu or Night's eyes could follow. "Wait for me," Ryuu cries trying to keep up with Sai. Now Night's two friends were gone to Hidden Mythology, leaving Night alone for a while. Because neither Sai nor Ryuu had a place to stay or wished to intrude.

Dug in the dirt outside Night's house wrote, "We'll be back before you know it, Night. Ha, ha. You're quite a pistol," signed Sai. When had he written that?

The two of them walked slowly into the village for two reasons. One because they were wondering if coming back so soon would be all right with Night and the other reason was because they were thinking over what had happened in Mythology and at the Academy. But they soon shove their thoughts aside as they make their way up the path to Night's house. Sai remembered exactly how to get there from last time so he didn't truly need to ask the plants where to go. He just walked as if he were heading home himself. "Hey Sai," starts Ryuu walking slowly behind Sai. Ryuu's eyes were content upon the ground. "What do you think I should do?"

"About returning home? About that male from the Academy? About Makka?" Ryuu's face seemed to redden. "Oh, you don't want to know what I think you should do about Makka huh?" Ryuu sort of laughs. "If your parents love you then they will understand. And if they don't then I'll come and break you out of confinement," Sai laughs. As they grow nearer to Night's house, Sai continues. "And that male from the Academy is nothing. You're pretty strong. I'm sure it wouldn't kill you if he came and attacked you." Done with his 'inspirational words', Sai approaches Night's door and knocks once. He shushes Ryuu before disappearing in a cloud of smoke. Ryuu looks around before doing the same. Laughter is heard and then nothing.

"I apologize. In truth I-" Before Ryuu could finish, Sai flings himself downward in the doorway, his face inches from Night's. Sai was using the Tree Climbing skill in order to walk along the side of the house over the doorway. He then crouched down and swung forward in order to appears as though he was crouched in the doorway upside down. "Boo," Sai howls in order to scare Night. Ryuu stares at Night with a look like, 'Sai's gonna get it, ain't he'. Sai was so close to Night's face that his reflexes if Night were to attack were slowed... right? He couldn't possibly be that fast? Sai's deep, dark gray eyes peer deeply into Night's green ones with an ominous dark gleam in them. Surely she would be startled. Was that was Sai wanted?
