How about you start helping Private Mikhail with fire-arms research. And study up on alter-plasma. It can be a useful tool for creating firearms that aren't slug-dependent. I still have to develope a better metal base for the weaponry around here. This steel alloy you people are using is incredibly inefficient as far as elsticity and CP are concerned. I was pondering instead of some Fe-C base, perhaps a tad more Ni or even Co would allow better dissipation of heat for ballistic weapons. And as for improving the tensile strength of your short-range arsenals, I'm definately thinking along the lines of Cu and W... However private, you are working on a few bits and pieces of outdated technology. A lot of the higher-yield weaponry is off limits to all personal except myself, still under reasearch. The current technology is also not under current reasearch, which also use elements outside the standard periodic table. How else do you suspect that metal polymers are used in the consruction of suits. It's not about implementing the new metalloid into specific designs... The developement of a new and better heat-dissapating metal would alow you to increase the fire rate on any ballistic weapon in your arsenal by a factor of at least 1.35! Including updating the older weapons...

Umm Lt. Relie, sir, I have alittle background with technology, not that i am asking to make my own armor or help you with yourself, but maybe soon if i can get some training. I would just like to see if I could have a basic stealth suit to work on and tinker with, you know customize. I am the unit's first scout, which is why I chose the stealth suit and hopefully won't wreck it. ^^

Ahhhh...how goes the research and development Xemaca? Any new updates to be had? Oh, and Eto don't be misusing that suit xd . I remember one time a long time ago I had a suit like that and tried sneaking into the women's locker room >_>. Suffice it so say...not a pretty outcome xp . Damn technicians told me it was full proof...it wasn't water proof... confused

Damn technicians told me it was full proof...it wasn't water proof... confused Actually, I'm nearing completion on a special pistol that is designed for piercing through adaptive force-fields by using a re-modulation of the energy projectile which changes when it determines that shots are no longer penetrating the force-field. If not... )) stare Actually, I thought that was standard XTI equipment for interrogations. I believe we used it before on Takedo stare and... Sanu... but that was an accident.

In any case, I have a possible formulae for a new metal base, but it still is going to need to undergo some field testing; and after that last little mishap, iI've determined that it's probably a good idea if someone with a tad more experience around here could give me a hand, as I'm not very familiar with some of the technology used here yet.
