(you can still see a glare, even if it's covered, so long as it's in the stance and so on.)
"Rogue qualified as a criminal as well," Lia said to AC. "I assume you're leaving the people on the bridge to die?"
She stopped talking though as she made note of the little girl sitting in the corner of the ship. She stiffened slightly, the suit giving its warning beep, before she began a slow walk towards Haldis.

"Yeah, but she's..." The street kid noticed her sudden distraction and dodged forward to intercept. With a hard look, she said, "Leave that girl alone, murderer. I mean you."

Haldis glanced up at Ora from her corner and stood up, letting out a full lunged scream. "She's trying to kill me!" Before looking for a way to hide on the ship.

A small gravitational pulse pushed out from Pendari, her lilac eyes narrowed in pure fury as she looked on Eric. "I have given up nearly everything to save these people. I am not going to sit back now and watch you abandon the group on the bridge because you aren't happy about strangers occupying your damned ship."

Pen leaned against the wall of the ship, her bandaged arm darkening in color as the wound began bleeding again, although her eyes still remained slightly narrowed. "Don't give me that look, Eric. I could still kick your a**, one armed or not."
She was about to ask who this Cap'n was, and whether he had any connection to Crunch or kangaroo, when her attention was diverted to Lia in the corner, holding Haldis by the throat.
"What the hell?" She tilted her head, and then began to understand. "The stone walked away."

"Huh-oomph!" A.C. had been distracted by Eric and Pen's conversation, allowing Lia to slip by completely unnoticed, but at Pendari's words spun to see... and, disbalanced by the Rogue's body, tripped over her own two feet and fell over.

Eric paused, mulled it over, then nodded.
"Yea, you COULD kick my a**, one handed or not. I'm not arguing this fact. The fact stands that we're packing an awful lot of scared, angry, ciolent and other wise space-disaster traumatized folks on an ity-bity ship. You figure that into it, plus the fact that there's some Stone you folks keep talkin' 'bout, and we're in for a rough night. Haldis screamed and clawed at Ora's hand, while Ora whispered some things to the girl under her breath that could not be heard by anyone else in the room.

Time was passing, and deep in the prison shattered bone and a mess of gore were shifting inside Cookie's chest. The woman groaned, "Hally..." but was cut off by a bubbly scream as a loose shard of flak was painfully shoved out through her newly healed skin. The hole sealed up behind it, and her mind slipped away for another few moments.
