Escarelia found herself at the lake once more. "Now, this is familliar," she said, smiling to herself cheerfully. She folded her hands behind her, looking at the water. She took a deep breath and began to walk towards a tree to sit again, to relax.
Escarelia hummed to herself as she leaned against the tree, looking up at leaves, and the sky past it. She closed her eyes as she sat down, still leaning against the tree, still humming. She folded her hands in her lap, over her little bag.

Annalynna stepped lightly onto the sandy beach, smiling with pleasure as her toes curled into the warm sand. She tilted her face up to the sun, her keen ears listening to the sound of the waves hitting the shore.

Escarelia opened her eyes and looked around, spotting Annalynna a little farther down. She blinked, tilting her head slightly as she watched Annalynna, and couldn't help but smile, bringing her knees to her chest, resting her head on them.
She half-closed her eyes, taking another deep breath of air.

Anna caught the sound of someone nearby, turning to look around. She smiled as she caught sight of the other girl, then moved closer to the water. She watched curiously as the water lapped her toes, never having experienced the sensation before.

Escarelia sat up slightly when Anna looked over at her, thinking about how silly she must have looked. She laughed lightly, at herself, watched Anna again, standing up. She held her hands behind her, looking up towards the sky, deciding weather or not to approach the other girl.

Anna turned at the laughter from the other girl, watching her for a moment before taking a few steps toward her.

Escarelia blinked at Anna. Oh, I hope she doesn't think I was laughing at her! She thought, a little worried. After a moment, she took a few steps foreward, a hand raised in greeting. "Hello!"

Anna tilted her her curiously, taking a few steps closer. "Hello, may I join you?"

Escarelia smiled, head tilted slightly, and nodded. "How can I refuse company?" She pushed that same old strand of hair behind her ear, and extended her hand, still smiling. "My name's Escarelia, but you can call me Escar or Relia, if you want." Her expression went slightly blank for a moment.
"Um...before, when I was laughing, I was laughing at myself," she said, smiling again.

Annalynna accepted her hand with a smile. "I fear I must apologize for staring. I havent seen many of your kind before. My name is Annalynna, but you may call me Anna." With a small curtsey, she spread her wings slightly before joining the other on the ground.

"It's nice to meet you Anna." Escarelia smiled, then blinked, tilting her head. "My kind?" Escarelia blinked at Anna's wings, then back at the girl's face. She looked off towards the water, thinking, then she chuckled.
"I suppose nothing should surprise me by now...This place is full of so many different things..." She smiled, looking back to the girl. "I thought your wings were decoration. I'm sorry."

Anna's own gaze turned to the beach, her voice thoughtful. "It is very different from home."
She smiled back, fluttering her wings a little. "They are quite real" she giggled.
