Star kept from bursting out in laughter. Then, she realized Anne was there. "I'm making things okay between myself and thses guys. You can't go on treating them like dirt forever, you know." Star explained. This Kiro guy was really funny.

Checking and comparing the paper in his hand to the numbers above the dormroom doors, Leo walked slowly down the hall. B001... B002... B003... B004... B005. Here it is. Leo dropped the suitcase uncerimoniously on the floor and quickly typed the passcode he'd been given into the pad. Opening the door before picking up the suitcase, he entered and looked around.

The room was simple, containing two identical twin-sized beds, two small dressers and two desks. There was also a door leading to what must have been a bathroom. From the emptyness of the room, he was currently without a partner.

Choosing the bed on the left he zipped open the suitcase and dumped his belongings on it before stuffing the detested suitcase out of sight. Quickly folding his clothes and putting them in the dresser closest to him he then sat on his bed, unsure of what he could do next. Looking around at what would be his home for the next year, Leo sighed. This was going to be a long, lonely year.

(( 48 pages and we're only on the second day. mad D How awesome! ))

Rushing outside to the garden area, Kiki panicked. Did something happen to one of her brothers? Did someone get hurt again?! She almost choked as she ran.

Reaching the two populars and the goths, she was getting some strange looks. Really, she looked just like a goth. It was pretty odd.

"What are you wearing?" Vincent asked. Kiki turned red.

"Uhm... nevermind that!" Looking to her left, she could see Kiro. "Un, Kiro!" she called. He turned her way, eyes still wide from his ant encounter. He shouted back a 'Hey' to her, so she knew he was all right.

'Great... I rushed out in an outfit people will stare at me for. Just what I need, more attention...' Kiki sighed. 'Which reminds me. I need to call my friend!' Sitting down, she found a nice, ant-free area. Taking out her phone, she punched in a number, and held the device to her ear.

Ring.

Ring.

Someone had picked up, which was a rarity. 'U-uh, hello? ...Kiki!" someone shouted into the phone.

"Cameron! Hey!" Obviously, people were listening to her phone call, but she didn't care. She ignored any looks she got, and pouted. "How was your summer, with the repelling and the hiking?"

"It was great! We found some really nice cactus at the bottom though... But uhhh, no one got injured though, so don't worry!!!" Kiki smiled. At least her friend was having fun. "Oh, and sumer was good, too! We got to stay in an underwater hotel this year!!! It was thrilling!"

"Nice! I wish I could stay in a hotel like that!" Kiki replied. Kiro looked at her weird, as he had made his way back to the group, and sat down against a wall.

"Yeah, it was awesome!" Cameron replied. "Well, how was your summer, girl?"

Kiki laughed. Kiro looked at her again with the same weird face. He really needed to stop that! "Mine was good! It was the same old same old, though. Private jets, following Mother around all the time... it was stressful. Really, that woman needs to get a different job or something. Paris isn't fun to walk around with heels all day..." Her friend giggled on the other line.

Suddenly, there was a wail on the other phone line, followed by a crash. "...Cameron?" Kiki asked. She went pale, and her eyes widened. Vincent, Kimmie, and Kiro looked at the phone, a little bit curious of what had happened.

She could hear an "I'm okay!" from the other line. Kiki raised a brow, but waited for her friend to get back to talking on the phone.

"That was fun..." Cameron replied. "Okay, well... anyways... anything else you wanted to ask me before I have to go?"

Kiki smiled again. "Oh, yes. Are you going to be at St. Harper this year, like the last?" Vincent slightly smiled at this, and Kiro grinned, the both of them hoping this 'Cameron' would be attending this year.

"Nah. My parents wanted me to go to some school in Italy because I was majoring in Art." Kiki frowned. "I'll be there next year, though! Don't you worry! And try to call or e-mail me at least twice a week, you hear?!"

"Yes ma'am," Kiki replied. "I'll try to!"

"Awesome." Crash. Sigh. "Bah. Sam bumped the cooler again. Now we need to go! I'll talk to you later, Kiki." Kiki smiled again. Seriously, she seemed to be having mood swings.

"Cya, Cam." Pressing the 'End' button, she closed her cell phone, and put it back in her pocket. When she looked to the group, all eyes were on her. "What? I told you all I had to make a phone call!" she stated, and walked back inside, waving goodbye to all of the people outside. Almost everyone waved back, save for Hotaru and Gerard. Gerard was bust staring at Kiki like she was a piece of meat, and Hotaru was still breaking her pinky, not paying any attention to anyone.

'Time to go e-mail Cammy!' Kiki told herself, grinning as she walked to the computer lab.

Anne took a few seconds, staring open-eyed at her friend, trying to process that bit of information. And the ominous chaos around, with Kiro and Kiki, didn't help. "Why not? They don't treat us any better..." She finally managed to say. She was starting to think maybe her friend was even worst than she had thought.
Noticing everyone staring at her, she sighed. "Well, it's true!" her voice was loud, and she struggled to control it. Back at her calm usual tone, she continued. "We live in different worlds, Star. They believe people like us should be overthrown and disappear. They mock all our ideas and values. And you know that. I can only conclude you really are messed up from meeting Anthony. Honestly, I thought you were stronger than that. But whatever. If you think they can help you better than your friends who always stood by your side, be my guest. They will dwell in your heartbreak, laugh at your pain. When you finally understand that, come find me."
And with that she left, not looking back. She feared if she stayed another second things would go horribly bad; she didn't want to lose her friend for good, and she had been warned against dropping any more students in the Hospital Wing. Her mind a mess, she headed straight to her dorm. There was still no sign of her roommate, thankfully. Turning on her stereo, she dropped on the bed to the sound of Libertango.

((sorry for the small 'controlling' of other characters and for the rush. I wish I could RP a proper discussion, but unfortunately I have to go. Really go, like in I won't be back until the day after tomorrow. I'm sorry for the lack of time, I'll try and make it up to you guys when I return. kiss**))

“…Dude, you are seriously ill. Go take some Advil or something! Or better yet go back to bed! You shouldn’t be up and about in your condition! Chris! Listen to me!”

Christopher merely let out a small sigh escape him in response. Carlos had been saying the same stuff for about 30 minutes or so… He knew his friend cared and all but… Listening to the guy rant and mope around was just plain annoying.

“…I’ll go back to bed later. And can you stop nagging for a minute? I really would like to enjoy some fresh air…” Christopher stated rather monotonously, as he gingerly made his way to sit down on a patch of nice and fresh looking grass.

Sara watched as the boy sat on some grass not to far from her. She put her markers and pens away, then turned to him. She waited for him to get off the phone and said,"Hi."

As Nia walks the halls, her cell phone goes off. With a sigh she shifts her purse and extracts the ringing device. Seeing the caller-ID, she smiles. "Pronto?" She says before continuing to walk. As she talks in Italian to whoever had called her, she keeps an eye out for Star and Anne. But because of her phone call, she only saw Anne briefly well down the hall as the girl seemed like the torrent of hell was on her heels. Curious she follows, but when she passes by the doors Anne came out of, her confusion turn into shock and even more confusion. "Uno momento, Carlo" Phone still pressed to her ear, she leans on the door frame and just watches Star for the time being.

Diah glares at the room numbers and deices to go outside to clear her head and de-stress. How she hated modern buildings...As she passes by some windows, she noticed Vince outside. A smile breaks out at seeing his familiar face. But on closer inspection she sees Star, all pretty and stylish, and a quiver of hesitation and doubt run down her spine. Thinking of her cousin Nia, an odd ache forms in her chest. How many times has she watched Nia seduce any and all male attention away from Diah? With trepidation, Diah watches the encounter.

Garrett was disturbed from a frightfully great dream for a variety of reasons. Possibly the sound of honking horns outside, the light filtering through his curtains, or just the slight humming of his computer. He got up groggily and opened the side of the computer case. "Damn DIMM," he said to himself. He got a few tools, and started working with the computer. "Need to update my RAM," he said, and pushed the knob inside the computer. 3 cards fell out, and he picked it up. He opened his drawer, put the RAM inside there, and pulled out 3 new cards. He put it in the old slots, and shut the case. He turned it on, and the computer ran much faster and better than before. "Yep, I am a genius," he said, half-muttering to himself.

Mike was rather mortified by this whole scene. Although he didn't want to go near them, he had to save the lady, right? He casually walked over to the table, putting a hand on Star's shoulder as he tried to reason with her and her rash decision.

"Hold your horses, there. Think about what you are doing for a moment. Why do you need to apologize to THEM? Aren't THEY the ones that make us feel bad about ourselves, act like we will be nothing but a nuscance in life? If anything, they should apologize to US! They never come to the games, nor usually have alot of school spirit. We're just-"

"I thought it was sweet of her to apologize. Besides, don't act like you guys don't do the same thing." Lily interrupted coldy. She could see her brother freeze, not daring to interrupt. "Don't get me wrong here; I also regret having to be angry at people. But if I remember correctly, you guys never come to the math or science competitions either, and ask us for help in a way that we end up like tools stuck in a toolshed."

Vincent glanced at the rivaling siblings, who were looking at each other intensely. 'Hatred for other siblings must be common here...' Vincent thought. It was quite sad to see that most of the students who had brothers or sisters always fought with them. It made Vincent think exactly about why people even bothered talking to them if they dislike them so much.

He started thinking about his own relationships with his brother and sister. Kiro never talked to him much, but Kiki was over him like a dog on a steak. Honestly, he thought the attention he got from Kiki sometimes was just a bit too much.

Thinking now about what they actually said, it was true. They all acted the same to each other, even if it wasn't intended. Also, the games part wasn't true. Vincent had been to many football and track competitions to see his other friends compete. So what if he had jocks and populars as friends? He didn't really care for the situation.

"Your sister's right, you know." Breaking the stare, they looked at him. Looking up to the sky, and closing his eyes, he finished, "We've all been acting like five year olds. Gods, I don't think anyone remembers how it even started..." Glancing at Star, then Anne, and then the boy, Vincent nodded. "Unless any of you remember it."

Star was confused by all the different options. Thank god Vincent is here.. She said as he reasoned. "Well, I don't remember..But, Lily, is it? No offence, really, but math and science comeptetions are kinda boring. Games and pep ralleys keep you hyped up and in suspence." Star said. Well at least Chris isn't here... know we kinda made up, but he'd go bananas if he saw me right now.. Star said, looking of in a random direction. Her gaze fell upon two people, girl and boy, and..crap. Well, I guess Chris is in earshot of this whole thing.. Star thought wearily.

Mike wanted to strangle the boy who had answered. Not because of the fact that he agreed with his sister, but because of the fact that he just blurred out the truth: that the two opposites were indeed sibilings. Many murmurs could be heard, some prasing to him and some in shame. Crap, I'm pretty much doomed. he thought bitterly, hoping that this wouldn't completely fry his reputation.

Lily stood in silence. She too was getting a few murmurs, but her brother was getting hit harder. Of course, he was popular; his reputation had just been shot at. Hard. As if he didn't hate her enough already.
"You've got a bit of a point." she answered Star, once her voice had been found again. "Depending on the questions, it can be a bore." the others behind her agreed by nodding.

As if this wasn't bad enoguh for her rep, Star saw the living thing that made her insides get tied in a knot. Anthony. He rounded the corner and strolled over to the growing group.
"Anthony." Star said firmly.
"Hey Star." He said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Most of the people who had been sitting around or walking by stopped. They stared at the new scene forming, waiting to see if Star bursted out in tears.

((uh-oh. this is not good...LOL))

Garrett was walking around, whistling a tune of Dixie while on his PDA. He soon stumbled on this conflict against many people. "What's going on?" he asked the group of people. "Is this some sort of game?"

(( LOL... not good at all! ><

Time for a Kimmie interlude! ^_^ She's not a main character, so no color text for her! ))

Watching the scene, Kimmie was at a loss for words. Vincent had shot down a popular, his sister had walked around with goth-like clothing, and now Star might run away crying again. She was almost about to grin and watch in suspense, but she couldn't help but feel for the girl. She used to have a boyfriend too, and then he dumped her. Stupid boy, she always kept telling herself. It never helped, though. Nothing really comforted her more until she met Vincent. Actually, you could say she probably loved the man.

Kimmie just stared at the scene, waiting like Vincent had always done. 'Of course. That's the best thing to do right now....'
