We could just throw him into a volcano...couldn't really do much harm there. PLUS it means we could all go to Hawaii!!!!

Mav's trying to throw Demon back into the firey volcano he came from in order to destroy him. However, freezing him over hasn't worked, so this probably won't either

Not if he sealed the volcano after he threw him in, and here's why:
Once sealed, you're trapped in the lava you came from. Logically, you're only as strong as the lava you live in, which means you can't make it hotter than it already is. If you can however, you'd have to make it incredibly hot, and I mean HOT. If you could make it hot enough to escape, the heat would not only make the entire volcano explode from all the heat pressure, but it would send a wave of heat hotter than the sun into our core, destroying the entire planet.
In short, MAv can't destroy you, only imprison you. And if you escaped, it would destroy you, and Earth.
