Thursday needs to get here faster. I feel incredibly depressed, but Thursday I'm leaving on a field trip to Maine and I seriously need a good weekend of camping and rock collecting.

The third Barbie movie of the day. rolleyes (3-year-old got three of them at her b-day party on Saturday) I like these better than Strawberry Shortcake though.

I can't even imagine how bad a Barbie movie might be.
I fear for when I have kids and my family and friends start buying them gifts like that. Books and kid-aimed science documentaries only, please. I'll buy the cartoons for them myself.
I won't be satisfied unless my kids know how to read on their own before they start kindergarten, like I did...

The Barbie movies actually aren't as bad as I thought that they'd be.
She got some "toys" to help her learn too. There's a wipe-off letter and number book thingy. A toy that drives her Daddy crazy 'cause she pushes the buttons before it even tells her what letter she's looking for. *laughs*

What are these Barbie movies about, anyway?
I wouldn't want my future kid to get it in her head that she could be a princess. 0_0

Miriam The Bat Oh s**t. One of my best friends is going to be a father in eight months. He's 22 and his girlfriend only just turned 18, and they're living together in a small apartment working minimum wage jobs. Not to mention he only met her at an anime con a few months ago... Not to mention they're both estranged from their family and only have each other for support... I'm... uh... very dissapointed in him. o.o i have a friend who is 24, met his gf at an anime con in august and she just barely turned 18. They are not astranged from their families though, and as far as I know, they are not expecting a baby..

I think my friend might just be paranoid because she's late. She hasn't got the official word from a doctor yet. I'm hoping for his sake that it's a false alarm.
I dunno, me and my boyfriend would go nuts if I accidently got pregnant before we both graduated and had full-time jobs... I don't want a kid until I have my Masters degree, at least...

Education is best for little ones. heart xd
Does classical music really make them smarter? I've heard that theory approved and disapproved by different people. xp
Maybe I'll play it for my little ones in the future anyway, just for them to get a good taste of old music. heart
I learned that stuff before kindergarten too. My mom says I wouldn't shut up when I was little. rofl heart
