If you want "something decent" this year and have been disappointed in the past when it came to gifts, may I suggest that it might be wise to drop some very broad hints about what you want? ^^;

My boyfriend's thick as a brick. I spend the entire month beforehand linking him to pictures of things I want and saying "I really like this, I wish I could have it!"
Then he buys me video games and complains about how I'm so hard to buy for.
Bleh, I'm a frickin geologist and this boy has never even thought about giving me a rock...

Hooray for heavy rain after dark when I'm not going to be going outside anyway!
