"We never stopped loving you Crow. We just know certain beings you're around don't care for us near as much as you do. We fear that with our recent absenses they'll try to take our place in your eyes. And if we're not there,.. Would you let them take our place Crow? Could anyone replace us in your heart?" he asked in return wanting to know that just as much as she wanted to know if he loved her.

Mercina blocked their conversation from her mind and continued writing in her book and drinking her wine. She wasn't about to disturb them and just kept to herself.

Only, we can give ours to you right now" with that the dark emperor snarled in a seductive manner and shifted himself and the dark queen to her dungeon to deliver his present.

Mercina put her book away and looked outside to realize she was out the whole night and even stayed in the bar. She just shrugged and got up and left hoping she'd find something interesting to do.

Angel woke from her slumber high in the rafters of the bar. She had been up there seeking peace and that was where she had found it.

*The door creaked as he pushed it open, his foot steps echoed a little in the empty room. he closed the door behind him and cracked his knuckles creating an almost disguising orchastra of pops from the knuckles
