Chibi Kawaii-chan (ok, I just got bullied into being a water-carrier just now) @Fishy III: If they're "supposed" to be in the Gallery, that can be easily fixed by turning it into an "official" contest or something. You're the guildowner so do whatever. Anyway whatever you decide let me know. Water-carrier? I know. I just don't know about it. >_<

Yeah, the office water-dispenser broke, so being the resident peon, I had to go and buy a few bottles of water.
Contests make a guild look more complete! =D!
What's the worse that can happen?

I just don't know about it. >_< Well, If she puts it in the Social Room, and then you decide you want it in the Main Forum, couldn't you just move it later?
On a somewhat negative note, aren't the Newbies confused enough? We have one contest in the Social Room, and one in the Main Forum. Everywhere they're not supposed to be. Putting it in the Main Forum seems like a bad idea to me.

What's so confusing about contests in the Main Forum? The important thing for contests is exposure, and I'm sure we have a lot of people who still don't go into the social room.
And yeah, it's an art contest btw, in case you couldn't tell. It's to get some nice pics to put on the Guild home. Also because I got virtual cash to burn.

OK, what do you reckon would be a reasonable prize?
I'm thinking maybe 2-300k for the winner, 80-100k for 2nd place, maybe 30-50k for third place. Or maybe that's too much...

Meh, I don't really mind that much, I just don't want every newbie who has money putting up a contest. Putting one in the Main Forum seems like a good way for that to happen. Actually, all of those seem unreasonable. xd But people won't argue with getting overpaid.

Hmm, I'm not so sure about "bigger culties", but I'll give it a bit of thought.
I'm willing to put in about 400-500k, so maybe I'll spread the prizes around a bit by having a couple of extra categories, e.g. "most creative", or so on.
@Tatsu: More contests = people giving away money = cool!
Or like, I can make it seem really official-like so people are more intimidated by it.
