Shaydas ran into the room in a dead sprint, headed straight for the wall. A Nidorino burst from a hallway, obviously angered by something. At the wall, Shaydas ran up the wall and kicked off to catch a light hanging just above him. "You've gotta be kidding me!" the Lucario yelled, somewhat trapped by the Nidorino below. "Call him off! I didn't do anything to you!"

"Klink, hit 'em with a Gear Grind!" A voice cried out. Suddenly, two gears came in from the hall, striking the Nidorino multiple times. "You okay Shaydas?" Rex walked in, his "special" Klink floating in behind him. "Whoever's Nidorino this is, call it off, or I won't be merciful." Rex growled.

An Aquan casually entered the room calling out some random name. He looked at Rex and Shaydas' situation and whistled. The Nidorino looked and happily ran up to its Trainer. "Sorry about that," the Aquan said. "Kayden doesn't like Lucarios for some reason." With that, he left with his Pokémon following closely. Shaydas dropped down from the light when the coast was clear. "Thanks, Rex," he sighed. "I don't know what problem everyone's Pokémon has with me."

Klink floated up to Shaydas, nuzzling up to it. "Klink...." Klink said dully.
"Sorry about it, it's special, if you know what I mean." Rex winked.

Shaydas eyed the gears warily. "How special is special?" he asked, trying to subtly keep his distance.

"He's got some ADHD and he's bipolar." Rex said. "But he is great in battles." Klink looked up at Shaydas. "Klink......." Klink said.
"He also has absolutely no emotion whatsoever, being robotic, like Magnemite."

Shaydas merely nodded and looked at the spinning gears, amazed that a set of gears could be alive like that. While he was distracted, he didn't notice a Pokéball come out of seemingly nowhere. The sphere hit him squarely in the back of his head, knocking the Lucario over the Klink.

Naturally, Klink was startled and released a Thundershock towards Shaydas. "Klink...." It said calmly after releasing itself. It then looked towards the Poke Ball and began attacking it with various attacks.

Shaydas twitched involuntarily at the sudden surge of electricity. He rolled over on the ground and grabbed the Pokéball from Klink and threw it in the general direction of where it had come from. A dull thud told the Lucario that the ball had hit its mark.

"Klink...." Klink said. It floated towards Rex, who quickly recalled the Pokemon.
"I guess you should also meet some of my other Pokemon." Rex said. "Have you met these two?" Rex threw two Poke Balls, revealing two Pokemon.
"Tropi!" The enthusiastic female Tropius appeared.
"Scrag..." Scraggy sighed.
Tropius walked over to Shaydas, dropping a banana from its neck. "Tropius!" Tropius smiled.

"I can't say I have," Shaydas replied, accepting the banana. He gave Tropius a pat on the neck. "I don't think you've met much of my team, either, right?" he asked.

"No I don't think I have." Rex said. Tropius cried out happily, jumping off its front legs, shaking the room. Scraggy walked up to Shaydas, and headbutted his thigh. "Scraggy..." Scraggy crossed his arms.
"Calm down, both of you." He said to his two Pokemon.

"Whoa!" Shaydas called in surprise as his leg was knocked out from under him. "Hello there, Scraggy. He's a little impatient, isn't he?" he asked Rex, taking care to make sure the Scraggy was noticed. He reached for the belt he had across his chest and pulled out two of the Pokéballs off of it, then the other two. He sent out his team and introduced them.
"This is Kipper." The Mudkip smiled broadly.
"Night." The Pawniard sat down, staring at Scraggy.
"Rex." The Sandile created a pile of sand and proceeded to bury itself, leaving only its eyes visible.
"And Dusk." The Ralts pulled out a piece of candy and began licking it, waving to Rex's Tropius.

"Aww yay, you named your Sandile after me." Rex smiled. "And no, Scraggy is just a bit of a piss-off." Scraggy glared back at Night.
"Scraggy...." Scraggy turned around and made a "hmph" sound.
Tropius smiled, nuzzling her head up to Dusk. "Tropi!" Tropius cried out.
