I read up a bit on it using the good ol' internets. I think it's just a matter of me not having eaten anything or having anything to drink... at all, today.

That could be it. If I remember correctly, a lack of water could cause your blood to thicken, which would also induce the same effects. But the human body is like a car: a million different things can cause the same problem.

Ask Aoe and/or Ergo.
Takumi is one of the things that has to be redone. The festival's items are, for the most part, what the setup in Takumi will look like in the future.

crying I would've been screwed either way. If I would've chosen the bow, I'd be able to learn 1 style. I chose the katana so I can learn my other two...now I have to do missions to get enough Ryo to go buy a bow, and also get permission from the kage to be able to leave TO go buy the bow.

Shinsua That's not really being screwed, that's just having to enrich yourself with roleplay. xD Lol, no with the choices of the Bukijutsu styles I wanted to learn. I'd make a custom weapon, so I wouldn't have spend the Ryo on the weapon, but there is still the problem of me being a gennin.
