Aly's scanned the room once more, hoping to catch one of the others only to pause. She turned to see that Louie had turned his attentions towards conversation. Wonderful, now I'll have to avoid those awkward moments, Yas talked about. Gah, my sister will never live this down, she thought as she formed her words in her head. "I haven't been with the Black Op's long," She began, then stopped to take a sip of the drink. She attempted to hid her dissatisfaction with it before continuing, "Though I've been dealing with Kuro's Gang for a while. In terms of providing machinery and weapons...in a round about why. So how long have you been working within Kuro's little group?"And the Social demands, that interaction causes is quite tiresome.

Louie nodded but didn't say anything else. Funny thing about Louie, he never felt the silences in a conversation or between him and another person as awkward. Actually it didn't bother him at all. The only reason he would attempt to make conversation was to make the other person comfortable. He glanced at Aly and took another sip of the drink. He silently wished he had grabbed something else his drink was now lukewarm and slowly becoming more disgusting. Rosemary sat alone waiting for something to happen. She hadn't spotted anyone she knew and it was blatantly obvious that Louie was avoiding her. 'I hate being the new girl in a group and I hate feeling left out!'

Pen eventually got up from her seat and left for the refreshment table. Not particularly hungry it was at least something to occupy her time. Once getting back with a plate with pitiful amount of food and a glass of what she hope was champagne, her table from before had been taken by a bigger group.
Passing by like nothing happen she finally found a familiar face. "May I sit down Rose?"

Nari had been walking near the refreshments with her plate of food for what seemed like an eternity. She couldn't see anyone she remotely recognized. 'Ohh, I'll be sitting with a stranger at this rate! Hey...there's--' "Pen! Wait up!" she yelled and tried to follow after her before she lost her in the crowd.

Rosemary looked around at Pen and smiled. "Of course have a seat!" She folded her hands in her lap. "I'm afraid I'm no good at social gatherings like this. I never know what to do with myself. They make such a lovely couple though."

Once KD finished her food she began wondering aimlessly around... I hope I find someone soon, I hope they don't leave without me... I really rather not stay here forever.

"Yea, they do." Pen sat down at the table placing the few morsels in front of her. She gave a small smile but her head was lost for a moment thinking about Waffle and Sabe.
"They are sure one of a kind. Should had seen them before. They were clueless in a way of how the other felt and all that good stuff." Pen seemed to talk in a half daze, lost in thought and in the past. It was minute before she realized that she trailed off. Snapping out of it she gave a slighter bigger but tired smile.
"Oh, sorry Rose. Got lost in thought there for a moment. I don't do well in these situations either. Actually any situation that requires a dress is not my forte."

Nari squeezed through a group of elves and excused herself for the tenth time before she finally saw Pen sitting with...Rosemary? That sounded right to her. "Phew, that was fun...Mind if I take a seat, ladies?"

In the silence that had over taken the table, Aly had drifted in her thoughts. Absently she used a bit of her ice affinity to freeze first the glass, then the top layers of the liquid, and used a nearby utensil to break up the froze bits.
I will have to keep this embarrassment from my sisters, least I desire to be the joke of the entire family, she thought re freezing the top of the drink. Now if only I could melt the ice...

"I don't see why not." Pen turned her body slightly to pull out one of the chairs for Nari. Returning to face her plate she gave Nari a summary of the little conversation so far.
"We were talking about our newly weds. What do you think?"

Nari thanked Pen for pulling out her chair and listened for a moment before replying, "Well, I haven't known them for too long, so what I see may not be the full story. To me, it seems like Waffle wears the pants of the relationship. It's really cute, though. They have some odd chemistry that works for them."

Rosemary smiled at Nari, "They are adorable. Forgive me if its a little forward of me but I must ask someone," Rosemary sat up straighter and spoke in a serious tone dropping the formal pleasantness. "Why would someone what to harm them? I've never heard of someone attempting such an assassination during a wedding! Certainly not one up here and with all the guards no less!"
Louie glanced at Aly and bit his bottom lip. He could see how board she was and he suddenly felt bad. 'Well aren't I the terrible gentlemen. Ok Louie let's see if you can't turn this situation around.' He cleared his throat and smiled, "I probably came off as a little rude this morning but it only just dawned on me where I've heard your name before. Please forgive me for not recognizing you sooner my dear. What would a lady of your social standing be doing in a group like this?"

Luciano found Michelle moments later in a hallway quite far from the wedding party, and this whole time they had been arguing with each other, ". . . Look, I just don't want to talk about it. Ok? Can we argue some other time- Maybe when we get home?" "Why?! So the both of us could walk back to the group all smiles and pretend everything is ok?! Maybe you're ok with that, but not me." Luciano clenched his jaw, and adjusted his glasses, "It's not what I meant; I meant we go back to the group and show our support for Waffle and Sabe." "Oh, so now I'm the bad guy?-" "-That's not what I'm saying!!" Luciano sighed and sat down on the nearest chair, he took his glasses off to rub the bridge of his nose. Michelle also let out a sigh, and she sat down next to him. Luciano looked around for a moment, then sat back as he put his thoughts together. Michelle crossed her arms and legs, "Look, just say it. You made a mistake asking me to marry you- You only did it because you felt pressured." Luciano clenched his jaw and quickly stood up, "WHAT?!" He accidentally shouted, he stopped for a moment to make sure nobody heard him and he knelt down in front of Michelle, "That's total nonsense and you know it. That's not why I proposed to you." "Then why?" "Because I really do love you, and I really do want to spend the rest of my life with you. That's why." "Then why aren't we officially married yet, Luciano?" "Because I -" "- No, don't feed me any more bullshit; I want the truth." Luciano let out a heavy sigh, and looked down. He was never too good at putting his feelings into words, but he knew Michelle expected a lot of him in that department, so he thought he should try. Luciano took a deep breath and he said, ". . . As you already know, my parents were brutally murdered when I was four years old," Luciano folded his hands, and looked up at her, ". . . I don't want to bore you with details in which you already know, so I'll just tell you." Michelle was now concerned for Luciano, and she nodded "I don't want us to wind up with the same fate as my parents. I want us to be there for our kids. I want us to wait until we're no longer a part of this elite group before we're married and have a family." Michelle shook her head and did her best to hold back tears. Luciano held her hands and he said, ". . I'm sorry," Michelle shook her head at him again, "That's all you had to say to me, Luciano. All you had to do was tell me you felt that way," Luciano gave Michelle a hug, but she gently pushed him away, "Listen to me, Luci, and I want you to listen to me VERY well; We are not your parents. You are not your father, and I am not your mother. . I know you're afraid, but Luciano if we wait then we might be waiting forever. . And I don't want us to wait. . . Please don't be so afraid. . we'll both be ok. I promise." Luciano knew Michelle was being sincere. Very sincere. And he knew that they had been together long enough to trust her words. He assumed it was a Light Elf thing; Being able to be so comforting with so little effort. And he loved that about her.

Aly sighed at the question. It had been the one she had expect to hear when she first came to the group, but after whirl wind of events the question had had startled her.
Glancing up, she keep her hand on the frosted glass pondering her response. What to say, how to say it, and which tone to use all alluded her.
She opened her mouth, closed it and then said softly, "I made a mistake. As a sort of punishment, I joined Kuro's gang. I was placed in this group specifically because of my knowledge of science and magical weaponry."

Louie looked at her and frowned sympathetically, he understood what it meant to be forced into something because higher ups thought you needed to be disciplined. "Punishment? I'm sorry you feel that way Miss Aly. What may I ask did you do?" Louie asked gently. He silently hoped he wasn't over doing the gentlemen angle. It had been a long time since he had needed to be that polite, after all.
