Alice smiled as she looked over at him. "I'm fine but........may I ask what happened to me?......" she asked softly as she put an elbow on the table, her chin in her hand. "The last thing I remember is.......Sakura saw you and Cassidy and we had to lie to her to keep her from knowing..........after that it's blank......" she said softly as she looked over at him again.

Shadow didn't want to answer the question that Alice has posed. He couldn't tell her what happened so he had to lie. "You wandered off into the woods again, against my wishes. You were attacked by something. I heard your screams and came running but by the time I got to you the attacker or attackers had fled and you were lying in a bloody mess. I brought you back here, we patched you up and you have been out cold ever since then. Sakura is in a room right now, she is still sleeping. Just incase you where wondering." Shadow said hoping that mis mix of truth and lie was good enough to fool Alice but why would Alice have a reason to not believe him.

"Good. I don't want to hurt you but... it is impossible not to get hurt while learning this skill." Neferata said as she mixed the contense of certain bottles together. She knew what she was doing. Creating something that simulated sunlight and burned like hell but it was the only way to teach Valaryia. "Valaryia my dear. I am going to do soemthing that will burn you. What you need to do is foruc on the burning and use the blood that flows through you. Focus on putting out the flames that burn under your skin. Do you think you can manage or should I take this alittle slower?" Neferata added.

Alice looked at him for a moment then smiled. "Well Then I thank you for saving me!" she said softly with a smile. She then stopped a servant and asked her to bring her a strawberry smirnoff and something chocolate. She then looked back at Shadow. "So what did I miss while I've been out?....." she asked softly.

"Well, Malice went a little crazy and is carrying Kave's child and Vickilyn has her vision back now." he said. That was everything he could thik of that had happened in the past few days. It was quieter than usual even without mentioning Malice's transformation.


Neferata finished mixing the things together. "Brace yourself." she said as she walked over to Valaryia and took her arm. "This is gunna hurt alot by the way." she said as she poured some of the mixed contents onto Valaryia's hand. Neferata knew that she could heal Valaryia if everything went horribly wrong.

As she sat there, her head started to hurt slightly when he mentioned Malice and Kave's name. She slowly put her hands on her head, trying to get it to stop. After a few minutes it suddenly went away. ".....That was weird........" she said to herself as she slowly looked around. She then shrugged slightly as she leaned back in her chair.

"Want a smoke?" Shadow asked as he lit one up for himself. He was glad that Alice had bought everythign he had just said. the truth would onlt be more harmful to the poor human.

Neferata wrapped her arms around Valaryia's neck. "Focus on the coldness of your blood. Use that to munb the pain. Please just focus my love." She said in a soft tone trying to calm Valaryia's mind and force her to focus not on the pain but on the burn its self.

Valaryia, tears starting to fall, looked down at the burning in her hand. It was hideous. She focused on her blood. Cold. Ice. But ice burned too. She shook her head and tried to numb it. She turned to Neferata, panicked. "I can't make it stop!" she cried, tears falling in greater numbers. "Neferata please make it stop! I can't do it!"

"Neferata!" she screamed. "Put the ******** flames out right now!" She looked at her hand, trying to focus on the blood. For a second she thought she got it. She saw blood. Then her heart stopped. She saw her blood. "It's burning a hole through my hand!" Valaryia cried, waving it. "Make it stop! You have to do it NOW!" She didn't care if she was being hysteric. It hurt so badly.
