The two men woke up almost simultaniously, looking around for a moment. Soon they began to speak to one another in the strange dilect, a neutral look upon the white haired man's face and an odd smile on the other. What they were discussing would not be known by the ones around them, but they kept a hush voice so that a person would barely be able to hear the words.

After a while, Ziven began to meditate. Aware of her surroundings all through the night, she slowly opened her eyes when she heard the men stir. If their movement had not woke her, their words would. Though they were speaking softly, she could hear the noise of their speech but could not make out words clearly, did not even know what language they were speaking. Silently she watched them, not wanting to disturb them.

The white haired man snapped his fingers and a cloak and mask appeared on the floor. His robes were covering most of his body, so it was hard to tell if he was using a rune or simply working off of magik. The black haired man picked up the cloak and mask, put them on, then sprinted out of the circle. He immediately seemed to disappear, though the cloak and mask seemed to be floating... then suddenly they were gone too. The white haired man looked at Ziven, then walked over to the threashold of the circle. "Hello there."

Watching silently, she made no move or sound until the dark one started to run off, she watched with her eyes as he left. When the light one began to approach her, she stood fluidly, still silent. "Greetings, I hope you rested well." she finally said to him once they were facing each other. She made no further moves nor did she speak, simply watching, waiting.

The white haired man tilted his head a bit. Her actions confused him, and he was not normally one who got confused. He did not understand why she acted in such a way... he thought that she and Reeve had been close. "Well enough, thank you." His blue eyes looked at her. Though they were calm they seemed to be... lacking. There was no warmth behind them, nor was there anythingelse for that matter. His eyes seemed gentle and kind, but lacking any emotions they should have moved through them. "Do you have any questions for me?"

Slowly she turned her eyes to the distance, pondering his question. Her words finally cam to him. "I am still curious about what you are going through, what this is, if I may do more to help you other than show my support, tell you that I am here for you." she paused, returning her attention to him, sapphire blue eyes, shaped like an animals peered upon him serenely. "But I am curious also if you have questions for me. I know I am different. It will pass."

"Basically, Reeve was an idiot." The man said simply, tilting his head. "We are a result of he trying to balance himself, splitting his soul into two main parts and one sub-part. He was actually born with the sub-part... but that still doesn't change the fact that he probably harmed himself for trying to improve something that should not have been touched." A small smile appeared on his face, but it was soon gone. "The only thing you can do is wait for now. Perhaps you may help Reeve when we are whole, but for right now we need no assistance." The man seemed to be thinking for a moment before replying. "We think you have been harmed, and are trying to cope in the only way your mind can. It reverts to an animal-like existance so that you can no longer be harmed... am I wrong?"

She nodded slowly. "If you do know of anything, please let me know.
.. As for myself .. you are essentially correct. I know not how yet I know I am part of three races." she began simply, again turning her attention to the distance, thinking that if he were to take ill to this, she would not want to see, but would want to hear why. "Dragons .. proud race, very particular about whom they speak with, who, where and when the interact, keen senses, history steeped in tradition.
Last night, you said you need a body .. Does this mean someone else will need to die in order to be whole as Reeve again? If this does not happen .. what will become of you?"

"Aye, we know well of the dragons. One of them tortured us for... long enough. But proud is right, and I now see why you are acting as you are." The man said, nodding his head. He was a very odd person, seeing things only with logic... able to filter out emotions. "Our people's history also links to dragons, before they gained their intelect and traditions." Her question made him think for a moment, pondering how he sould put it. "If we do not get a body, we go back into the nothing. More keepers will meet us there... and we probably won't be able to escape again. But don't worry, everything works out how it is supposed to."

Inhaling deeply, she moved her head toward him again, but did not meet his eyes at first. "Indeed, everything will be as it is meant to and we will be left with the choice ti move forward or give up." she replied honestly, lifting her eyes to him again. Though her expression had not changed much since she first spoke, her eyes shown worry, pain.

"You talk as if our fate is already ill-met. Is that what you think?" The man asked her, looking into her eyes. He had already factored the probablility of sucess, and it was actually very high. Despite this Ziven seemed to have the thought that they had lost long ago.

She gazed at him for a moment before replying. "Our fate?" lowering her head slightly before going on. "Fate has seen it fit that I am alone most of my life. If it is true that my fate is to cross with the fate of another for a long time .. I will need time to accept this just as I needed time to accept that I was meant to be alone. I enjoy being in the company of friends, I cannot imagine returning to the life I knew before now.
I trust you will understand it is not that I lack faith in you .. only in myself and what I believe should be."

"You... are foolish." The man said, turning and walking a little bit away. He sat down on the ground and looked into the sky. "If fate wanted you to be alone, you would not have come to a place like this. You would not have friends, nor people that cared for you. If fate wanted you alone, you would be in a cave with some kind of strange power that controls you more than you control it, trying to hide from people who want to kill you for no reason whatsoever..." The man spoke quickly, though he did not seem to get mad in the least.

Pondering his words before replying, she thought to see how to explain. After a moment, she proceeded with a brief truth of her history. "I was left on my masters step when I was very young. How can I see that as anything but being unwanted? Fate saw fit that my own family would discard me, not even remaining with me long enough to ensure safe delivery to my master. Even then, my master nearly decided not to accept me as his student.
As I grew, living and learning with them, he would remind me always that one day I would need to leave. Though I know he means well by this, it is painful to be reminded that I would be pushed away for so long until the day finally cam that I was pushed away from them.
All others I met in my youth rejected me or would humor me for a short time, not wanting to maintain any consistent contact. When I found a different magic peoples that allowed me to study their techniques, their adults could not accept that I was so old and knew nothing of their ways, their young did not understand how it was possible to be so different. I spent my days in thier libraries reading through book after book without requiring assistance vs they who needed instruction.
Here now .. When I met Fox, he was the first to embrace me .. in so long that I am tempted to say it is the first hug I have received in my life. I am very different. My experiences in life have taught me virtually nothing but independence and the drive to help others."
Blue eyes watched him as she spoke, unsure if her words would anger him further, as they had when speaking with Seisuke.

He sat down on a bolder at the edge of a cliff. He gazed out over the rolling green meadow. He sighed and looked down at his hands deep in conflicting thoughts.
