As Klink draws nearer, I flash it a look that says 'back off.'
While staring down the pokemon with personal-space issues, I respond to the others. "I see. I didn't have any plans either, though."

Beside me, Xatu was preparing a Psychic attack to move Klink away, with a force depending on the Steel-type's behavior. I hold up a hand to stop her, and as Klink looks to rex, I step back.

"Sounds like you got a real winner there. Hopefully some training will help its focus."

"Yeah, maybe." Rex shrugged.
"Klink...." Klink floated over to a toaster in the kitchen, figuring out how it works.
"Oh Arceus..." Rex sighed. He held out a Poke Ball, sending out Corphish. "Make sure Klink doesn't hurt itself." Rex told Corphish. Corphish scuttled after Klink.
"Now that I think about my actions, I regret that decision..." Rex sighed. Suddenly, one of the other PokeBalls opens up, revealing Tropius, who hit their head on the ceiling, but luckily did not break it. "And there is my overenthusiastic Tropius."
"Tropi!" Tropius smiled. She walked over to Thard, dropping a banana from her neck. "Tropi!"

Tropius frowned, disappointed her gift was not excepted. She picked up the banana with her mouth and then dropped it in front of Itaku. "Tro?" Tropius looked at Itaku.
Suddenly, a small explosion could be heard coming from the kitchen. "Arceus...." Rex sighed. He walked into the kitchen, then came back out carrying two Pokemon, covered in black spots from the explosion. "We need a new rolling pin, and a new toaster." He sighed.

Rex cleaned up his Pokemon, recalled them all, said goodbye to Thard, then left through the teleporter.

Itaku snapped out of the daze to realize there was a banana on his lap. "Oh dear this must have been from Tropius...ahh I'll thank him upon his return...maybe I'll go practice some contest combination's....but where...." Itaku began to wander around the base Sushi still asleep on his head.

Itaku's TADS rumbled in his pocket. He quickly took it out and read the message, he flashed a quick smile. He hadn't battled anyone in a while this could be fun... He immediately ran to the teleporter and made it to the beach, effectively tripping falling face first into the sand....

" Well that was lame" He laughed wildly and smiled pulling out a pokeball signifying he was ready. "Well then Mr. Rex what type of battle would you like, you can choose the rules." He smirked revealing fanged teeth, he was excited for this.

"Single battle 3 on 3...and I can use contest moves....you can't underestimate me that much!" Reaching into his pocket Itaku tossed out his first pokemon. In a bright light out popped Ghoul his Golett. "Well then Rex what is your first choice?" Itaku tossed up his hood covering most of his face, his blue eyes shined in the light.

"Well let's make this fair then.... 2 vs 1 your two vs my one.... you'll have to deal with contest moves and I'll have to deal with 2 vs 1.... this way it's a challenge for both of us...." Itaku winked this idea greatly appealed to him.
