Nick silently observed Memo prepare to battle with Maddy. He followed silently, not saying a word to avoid being detected.

"Oh and Nick..."
Memo smiled over to the boy. He had noticed him right away.
"We should battle as well."
He nodded and then looked at Maddy again.

"We? Battle?" Nick asked, cocking his head to the right.

He kept his gaze fixated on Maddy, but spoke to Nick as he turned eve so slightly.

So many dreams were broken and so much was sacrificed
Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind? Maddy merely smirked as Star began to sore down from the clouds at Cerza at a high speed from behind, initiating the second half of a Fly attack.So many years have past, who are the noble and the wise?
Will all our sins be justified?

"Well, I guess I need to break in a lot of my Pokemon... I have never used a lot of them..." Nick fiddled with his TADS, pulling out Pokemon he had never used in battle, but caught.
Kink the Klink, Rainbow Dash the Ponyta, Rathalos the Druddigon, Lily the Pichu, Luna the Munna, and Ms. Christmas the Drilbur. "So how do we do this?" he asked curiously.

"Wha!?"
Both Memo and Cerza were taken by surprise as Star came crashing down from behind! Memo and Cerza had to act quick!
"Quick! Grass Pledge and raise yourself!!!"
Cerza summoned a tall tower of grass and vines to lift her up, but did she do it fast enough? Even is she was hit Star would have to deal with the grassy obstacle and that would leave her open to attack. Memo crossed his fingers.
"Chhhiiiikkkaaa!!"
EDIT:
"2 on 1!"
He said over to Nick.
"Make sure it has a type advantage over Cerza!"

So many dreams were broken and so much was sacrificed
Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind? Star was in too quick and steep of a dive to angle up a little and hit Cerza and ended up crashing right through the patch of grass the little Pokemon had summoned. On impact she fell out of the air and rolled into the sand a little ways away. She quickly got to her feet, however.
"Star! Use Gust!"
Without taking flight, Star began to rapidly flap her big, strong wings, creating a powerful gust of air heading straight for Cerza.So many years have past, who are the noble and the wise?
Will all our sins be justified?

"Cerza!!"
"Chhiii!!"
Memo watched as his Chikorita skidded on the sand, but also saw that Star did the same.
"Aha!"
Cerza got up quickly and Memo knew how to counter this.
"Cerza, intertwine your Vine Whip and then undo it now!"
The little Chikorita nodded and did as she was told. Her vines intertwined and then she pulled them undone to create a type of spinning shield that blocked the wind.
"Now launch your vines at Star! One for the feet and the other at a wing!!"
"Chikaa!!"
The boy smiled and took a deep breath.

Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind? Star tried to take off into the air but wasn't quick enough. One of the vines managed to wrap around her leg but the other missed. She flapped her wings furiously, slowing starting to climb higher and higher into the air and taking Cerza with her.
"Star! Use Air Cutter and try to cut free of the vine!"
Star flapped hard once with her left wing, unleashing a sharp burst of air at the vine that had her leg ensnared. She angled the attack such that it could cut the vine and potentially hit Cerza if the little Pokemon wasn't quick enough.So many years have past, who are the noble and the wise?
