The problem with normal schools, at least around here is that you're only taught facts, and only 1 side of them.
Examples:
Civil War - They paint a clear picture that the Union is the good guys, and the Confederacy is the bad guys. They never mention the stuff that would argue that the Union was just as bad if not worse. Hell, the America of today, where the rich have all the powerful, is the exact thing the Confederacy wanted to avoid, which is why they left the Union in the 1st place.
Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb. No mention of Nikola Tesla whatsoever, because then they'd have to mention the incident that implies Edison was a scumbag.
The main thing is, finding out those things is interesting because it makes you think. Things that make you think are good for learning, because it creates the desire to gain the knowledge, rather than just being fed random facts all over the place whether you want it or not.

Usually that's the case. Now Mr. Busse, my hsitory teacher, actually loved to play devil's advocate.

The history prof I had in college was great. He didn't do lectures. It was always a class discussion, and he related things back and forth to the class, making it interesting.
I still didn't learn anything, but it wasn't as boring and history usually is.

I quit Walmart, have another week to work still. I have some places lined up and waiting on calls.
Sides that, its nice to play Fallout again, it feels like its been forever. New DLC in a few days too.
