Felina grinned gently rubbing Oassu's tummy "Sure we can go out to eat tonight and since it's a nice place, we may as well not rush about too much" she told him putting her arm in front of Cid to stop him jumping away from the couch "You live in a really nice village miss Xyleena, I bet life is quite peaceful too"
Hayate smirked but shrugged his shoulders at Barbaros "I never said you didn't pull your weight. Just means I am going to work you a little harder maybe make you occasionally clean out the airship bathroom or something like that" he joked thanking the viera while she came around and handed him his drink.
Satoshi snickered glancing up at Gil then down at Enkidu "Trust me theres nothing you can really do for me. To get promoted I have to do things myself if you know what I mean... though if you really wanted to do something you could let me beat you up a bit and defeat you but I don't think either of us like the idea"

Oassu smiled nodding in agreement "Yeah it is really nice here, you must be glad your mother went out and got this lovely home" he said taking his drink happily.
Barbaros frowned at Hayate "Hey man I don't work for you, don't think you can go bossing me around just cause I fought for you in that battle" he said thanking Xyleena for his drink.
Gil nodded "I wouldn't let you win, plus even if I did agree to it they might then give you an assignment beyond your capabilities since you didn't really earn your place" he sighed "Oh well what would you have to do anyway?" he said thanking Xyleena as he took his drink.
Itaka frowned "If you got beat so bad you lost your wing how did you ever walk away from that fight?" he asked nodding in gratitude to Xyleena before glancnig at Alpha "And you said Alpha left that way too? If this gatekeeper is so powerful how's he not have any permanent damage?"
Jenna chuckled her eyes shifting to Xyleena as she caught the hint "Well in my defence it's a lot harder for us girls than you boys you know" she said leaning back and sipping her drink.
Mari smiled thanking Xyleena "Yes thank you your village is just lovely as is your home" she said brightly sipping her drink "Did Amane have trouble learning to walk then?" she asked.
Zadina gasped looking up to see the pixies "Wow, they're just like Ivy! And you can summon them from nothing?" he asked leaning back to watch them "What do they do?" he asked.

Seph sighed taking a sip from her drink "The gate was open because they were still in the process of banishing all the demons and I only managed to get out with a little help from my friends and even then I nearly died from blood loss. Out of the 400 people who tried to get back into this world only about 50 made it through so I guess I was quite lucky" she concluded curling up at the back of the couch.
Alpha smiled with relief that Jenna didn't indicate to Xyleena that they had been discussing her "Yeah yeah I know the women usually have it harder even after the birth. I learned that one from years of single parenting but the nappy changing is always the worst part" he agreed folding his arms.
Xyleena smiled weakly at the group before sitting down on the only unoccupied seat "Sorry I took so long with the drinks, I had to hunt for some of them in the cellar. My mother became really unpopular with the people here since they all thought the house looked too out of place. So, where do you intend on staying? Do I have to take some of you in?"
Hebal blushed nodding to her mum "Umm yeah it would be good if you could put most of them up for the night. We haven't discussed rooms but if two people don't mind sharing a bed then 6 of them can spend the next couple of nights in my house" she answered before turning back to Mari "she could walk quite well she just didn't like it.
Amane laughed at Zadina's reaction but continued to watch as the pixies flew around the sky leaving a trail of colourful sparkles behind them "Well I used my horn but yeah from nothing though I can't summon anything really really big and strong but these girlies can heal you and restore mana"

Felina frowned a little unsure on how to respond to Xyleena's comments "It may be a little out of place but it's not like it's in the centre of the village and it doesn't draw too much attention to itself but Hebal is right we would be really greatfull if you could give us a place to stay for the night" she eventually answered tickling Cid's side.
Hayate shrugged listening into the details of their sleeping arrangements "I know you don't work for me, I was just messing on. Bossing about usually requires lots of barking and shouting which is usually is not worth the effort. Plus it irritates everyone around you" he replied quietly while he took a sip from his cup.
Satoshi laughed patting Gil on the chest "I didn't think you would agree so it's all good. If I want to go up a rank I need to train harder then work on doing some harder missions when I get back to my village. Eventually the hard work will pay off but for now I don't plan on returning so all plans on hold"

Oassu smiled "Me and Felina will share a bed whoever we go with" he said cuddling Felina with one arm "Though we'll be out tonight for our meal" he said happily.
Barbaros chuckled "Your not that bad I wouldn't worry, your soldiers will be nice and loyal to you" he said taking a drink.
Gil frowned "Geez you fought in a massive battle and other things, what harder missions do you really need?" he sighed sipping his drink while patting Enkidu "If you ask me your superiors are too picky, how many higher level ninja are there?" he asked.
Itaka swallowed hard hearing that "Wait your saying, this one gatekeeper, outmatched you and killed all but 50 demons that tried to escape at once?" he said in disbelief.
Jenna chuckled "Well if you don't want to be alone you need somebody, just need to put something on the end of it and you can have a nice comfortable old age." she said examining her glass contently.
Mari laughed imagining Amane running around on all fours as a baby Viera "Well it was kinda fun but I don't do it much now" she said thinking about it "Still I'll happily stay with Hebal if it's ok" she said playing with her own ears.
Zadina laughed "Thats nice of them but it's cute you can summon these little things, they might make you try and fight if you learned anything big so stay with the cute little things for now" he said holding out his palm as one landed in it.

Seph paused nuzzling into Itaka while she listened into the conversation on the possible sleeping arrangements "Nah she killed about half of them then she got back up but miss gate keeper must be past her day now" she pondered for a moment shuffling around to get comfortable "Hmm... so what place do you want to spend the night in?"
Alpha grinned holding back the temptation to ask Hebal if he could stay with her "To have a nice comfortable old age I need to have loads of machines to do things for me, like an item picking up machine or a mobility thing and a pipe and maybe a pet too" he laughed quietly.
Xyleena nodded at Mari crossing her legs while she took a sip of her tea "Thats ok then, if nobody else has a room preference then I will just have to randomly allocate everyone to a building. If you wish to go out very late this evening I suppose I could put a spare key out for you provided you put it back once you have used it"
Hebal smiled patting Mari on the shoulder earning her a curious look from her mother "Aww it's nice of you to decide you want to stay with me but you know there won't be so many luxuries in my house since it's just a small one. I don't bother decorating it much since I am hardly ever here anymore" she warned her.
Amane let out a small squeal as one of the pixies settled down on her hair and began trying to groom it "Yeah these big monsters draw too much attention to you plus these little girls are so friendly when not having to do any hard work but you know, it's not often they fly so close to strangers on the first meeting"

Felina's smile widened hearing Xyleena's idea "You would do that for us despite only just meeting us? Thats really nice of you, thank you" she told the viera getting up to bow to her before sitting back down next to Oassu "Lets not be out too late out and remember what I said about letting me pay for it"
Satoshi shook her head tickling Enkidu's ears "It's not really that picky since there are only 2 ranks higher than what I am, one is the s-class and the other is the kage. Theres only one kage who is effectively the leader of the village therefore for me to go up one rank would make me one of the top ninja of my place."
Hayate laughed nervously staring down at his drink "Well... nice to know you think that. To be honest I think my soldiers are a little pissed off they didn't actually know who their commander was until they were marching off to a battle plus they didn't seem to thrilled about getting somebody who spends loads of time having to tag along with this lot"

Oassu nodded "Yeah thanks a lot Miss," he said patting Felina's hand happily "Now we can have a nice fun night" he chuckled "For Valentines day"
Gil nodded "Well your pretty powerful already, it's just a matter of time and training I'm sure" he said happily snuggling her "You'll be a Kage one day I'll bet." he laughed.
Barbaros sighed taking a drink "Well it's a poor commander who isn't their for his unit, you didn't need to come along with us but I'm sure they'll be fine, less work is good work besides I'm sure they're too busy rebuilding the city to bother with martial training under you" he said.
Itaka laughed "You know your cuter than you think" he told her stroking her hair as she nuzzled into him "But if you say so and I'm fine wherever, lets go with Hebal's place unless you gotta problem with that." he said.
Jenna smirked "You can keep a fire spirit, some of them are nice and yappy for you to chat to, and your a strong demon I sure you won't need all those gizmos" she said waving a hand dismissively at Alpha.
Mari nodded eagerly "Thats fine, I'm trained in awesome cleaning arts, if its that bad I'll give it a nice cleanup before bedtime!" she said brightly "Besides I wanna see what your house is like" she said waving her ears happily.
Zadina smiled as the sprite sniffed him uncertainly "Well maybe it's cause I have hung around with Ivy before, Mari's little sprite, and they can recognise her or something" he laughed "Are they all girls?" he asked her.

Seph shook her head sitting up a little but continued to lean up against Itaka "Nope Hebal's place sounds fine, though any particular reason for it? There aren't really any double beds in her house and it might get a little cramped. Still I hope you liked my story" she whispered to him placing her drink down on the table.
Alpha chuckled scratching his head "Nah I wouldn't go for a fire spirit, I would probably go for either a small dragon or a moomba if I were to have a pet and sure I need all those gizmos. I've had six centuries of working under my belt so when I retire I want some lazy time" he answered decisively.
Hebal nodded saluting Seph and Itaka "Okie dokie you two plus Mari plus me makes 4 people. That means two more can stay at my house, so anybody with a preference shout out now" she cheered excitedly at the idea that people wanted to see her house "I don't think my place will be that bad, Clover still cleans it every 2 weeks or so"
Xyleena raised her eyebrow at Oassu "Oh? Valentines day you say? But that was months ago was it not. I don't mind you coming in late at night so long as you don't disturb Amane, she's got an important training session to go to first thing tomorrow morning and needs sleep" she explained to them.
Amane hesitated gently pulling one of the pixies from her ear "All of the ones I summoned are girls but theres pleanty of boy ones elsewhere in the world" she told him floating over to the nearest tree "Would you like me to show you around the village or show you what instrument I can play or both?"

Felina nodded placing her arms around Oassu to pull him into a tight hug "Yeah today is a special day. It's giorno di amore which is the equivelent of elvish valentines day so I am going to be taking Oassu out for a meal tonight. Hmm... Is there anywhere you could reccommend?" she asked Xyleena thinking back to a couple of resturants they passed.
Satoshi scratched her head uncertainly "I don't think so, I wouldn't be the best candidate to become one, besides it would mean having to spend the rest of my days inside the village away from folk like these guys. I think I'll leave all that boring high ranked stuff to Ranmaru. Anyway do you want to stay here, or at Hebals?"
Hayate shook his head at Barbaros taking a small sip of his drink "Don't get me wrong I like travelling with these guys despite missing Adohand but I am meant to keep an eye on Felina, kings orders. He wants me to make sure they aren't doing anything to silly like marrying or getting knocked up" he added leaning in closer to him to whisper the last part in his ear.

Oassu sighed "I don't thjink I saw many restaurants but there has to be some in this village Viera have to eat out sometimes" he chuckled returning Felina's hug "but what does giorno di amore mean?" he asked
Gil shrugged "I'll stay whereever there's a bed, I can camp out if its too much trouble you pick but surely your high ranked folk get some fun missions and stuff?" he said.
Barbaros laughed, his voice booming off the walls "Well Hayate I'm afraid you've failed the first part of that salready, she's got a big rock on her finger and if tonights elven valentines day then she may have a baby in her tummy tommorow" he whispered to Hayate.
Itaka chuckled quietly stroking Seph's wings "Well you can sleep on my chest if you wish, you can pick whereever but yeah I guess it was a nice story, ever wanted revenge on her though?" he asked.
Jenna rolled her eyes "Just because your lazy doesn't mean you need to be incompetent yea? But baby dragons are rare to come by, eggs are rarer you'll be hard pressed for one of those." she said.
Mari giggled bouncing excitedly in her seat "Is Clover one of your friends?! I'm sure your house is just lovely if she cleans it frequently for you, we can even decorate it with the money we've got!" she cheered focusing hard so her ears did a little dance.
Zadina giggled brushing a pixie off his nose "Oh yea lets do both! That sounds fun though I can see the village quite well from up here" he said shooting magical colouring at a tree to turn it psychadelic colours.

Seph smirked happily flapping her wings in response to Itaka stroking them "Your kidding right? I would be slaughtered within minutes if I went out for revenge. I at least managed to leave my mark by giving her a scar on her arm where my claws sank into her" she told him waving her hand dismissively "Revenge is over rated anyway"
Alpha grinned pretending not to notice Jenna rolling her eyes "It's not that bad to get gold of dragon eggs. You can either go to the valley of dragons and snatch one or with the right amount of money you can just buy one on the right market. It's not like I was a really rare black or red dragon, I would settle with common green or brown"
Hebal nodded bouncing up and down happily next to Mari "Yeah Clover is my awesome sniper friend. she is a bit of an air head but she's really nice and friendly and I think you would like her, she has a part time job massaging people in the spa but for some reason enjoys cleaning things too" she explained wiggling her own ears.
Amane smiled gathering the pixies up using her hands "Ok girls, could you pwease do my a huge favour and get my trumpet for me" she ordered them causing them to fly off into her house through an open window "They will be back but if you can see that building below you with the red roof, thats the spa which is one of my fave places to go and that big round thing is the temple I train at"
Xyleena scratched her ear thinking about the question for a moment "Theres actually quite a few resturants, taking people out for meals is a popular and highly sociable activity. You could try the place that does pasta and pizza or better still go to the place that does lots of meat dishes, they do a really nice cockatrice and Zuu."

Felina yawned giving Oassu a tight squeeze "It's the name of the event. It's elvish meaning day of love. But how about I teach you another phrase; ti amo for example means I love you" she informed him shuffling around to smile at Xyleena "Thanks for the advice, what does Zu taste like? I have never tried it"
Hayate shook his head glancing over at Felina "They are only engaged and they have the approval to be married in a years time, plus those ceremonies take ages to perpare. Still Felina is a smart girl and won't do anything stupid to get herself knocked up. If it does happen I'm going to have to break his nose" he whispered back.
Satoshi nodded glancing over at Hebal "Me and Gil will take the remaining beds then" she volunteered leaning back next to Gil. "We get the occasional fun mission but most of the time we get the important stuff that all the other ninjas would be probably kill all the lower ranked ninjas"

Oassu laughed kissing Felina "Ti amo" he said to her happily "But I'll have the cockatrice then tonight, they are a little hard to pluck but the meat is so plump and juicy." he said thinking about it happily.
Barbaros raised an eyebrow at Hayate "Well what if it was all consensual, and Oassu once told me he beat you a little when you first met so I wouldn't say breaking his nose would be that easy." he chuckled finishing his drink.
Gil sighed "Killing without purpose is madness I hope there ain't a mission thats that simple and twisted" he sighed.
Itaka scratched his chin "I don't know thats up for debate really, but if she's that powerful then I hope we never have to meet a demon like her, and I thought Alex was bad" he shivered at the thought.
Jenna gave Alpha a dull stare "Snatching...a dragons egg? That is pretty hard you know and the right market for dragon eggs is usually the wrong market to be shopping in" she sighed.
Mari cheered along with Hebal "Sounds awesome but does everyone here have to be some form of combatant? Little Amane is training to be a summoner, Clover is a sniper....do you all have to fight that much here?" she asked tilting her ear in curiosity.
Zadina frowned lowering himself to look at the buildings "Whats a spa? And that temple is quite nice though I thought only white mages used temples" he said waving to a Viera sitting on a rooftop shoveling snow off.

Seph smiled patting Itaka on the shoulder "Don't get too worried about her, she's tough but not invincible plus we don't plan on going to the demon world anytime soon so theres no need to go anywhere near her" she pointed out glancing towards the window "Do you think we could slip out and go train somewhere?"
Alpha shrugged staring back a little at Jenna "why the dirty look? It's not like I am going to buy some dodgy egg. Chances are I'll just snatch one sometime. Dragons fire doesn't do a thing to fire demons so it would be somewhat easier for me to get away with one" he pointed out.
Hebal nodded poking Mari in the side "Yep everybody has to learn to be some sort of combatant. The forest can be really dangerous and the fiends sometimes come out at night so you have to be able to defend yourself or else you won't be allowed to roam around freely"
Amane hesitated cautiously making her way towards the buildings "A spar is a place grown ups go to relax with massages and public baths and things like that. And summoners learn to train in temples too you know, some of the things we can summon are ancient guards who like respect" she explained pulling her ears down.
Xyleena smiled crossing her legs while she leaned back into the couch "Excellent choice of meat, those were just a few examples if you wanted to you could go for a buffet or mix and match. The Zu can be very chewy and it's better to have it grilled brings out more of the flavour"
