Ryou looked to the side, depressed all of a sudden. "He's forbidden it." He muttered to himself, sliding off of the bed.

"You don't know-- He didn't just say-- You just don't understand!" Ryou burst out. He could remember how Marik had told Ryou that if the boy dared disobey him, that Marik would go find Kat and her child-- did she have the child yes? Ryou wasn't sure, but it must be soon-- and slowly kill them both. The threat had worked fairly well, and Ryou knew that he couldn't live with himself if he knew that he was the cause of their deaths.

Yugi glanced up as Ryou rushed past. "Hey, what's the matter?" He blinked, a bit confused as his friend didn't respond, but flung open the front door and left. He glanced at Kawi, wondering if she knew anything.
