I don't agree with any bad substance, personally. I hate the taste of alcohol, and half of my family has died from smoking.

Prove to me that Alchohol is bad and I might change mine. Until then, I don't think someone who can't stand the taste is qualified to label Alchohol "Bad".

One, because I'm only 16. And two, because I don't want to get drunk and DIE.

Really, it's not so much a matter of nom nom, or of concious, but are you responsible. The issue with smoking, drinking, etcetera, is that everyone thinks "ooh! it's illegal! i feel rebellioius!"
The idiots at college who build their beer bongs and go to the hospital on alcohol poisoning, or the dopes who store an entire jar of weed, or whatnot don't enjoy the stuff. They just do it to do it. and then they're addicted, fat, or whatever, and wind up doing dumb stuff.
In terms of alcohol, there's a drink for everyone. Like me, I don't really get into pilsners, but when there's a special dark or guiness, it's a bottle of soda to me. Yet, i know that as a doctor to be, i can't afford to really let too much get to me even if i did have an awesome liver. So there's an issue of knowing what is enjoyable, and what's just doing it for the sake.
