A City Of Fools @Delusion: Ah, you can use both, however, I warn you. As soon as the elements are getting updated after this election, those secondary master elements are changing. Wind is probably getting lightning and I don't know what they are doing for fire yet.
Bender secondaries aren't changing. General secondaries however are.

@CityO'Fools: D'awww. I thought fire and electricity being related was pretty clever, what with them both being elements of energy.
I liked the idea of the 'upgrade' elements based on similar personalities, too, things like
Wind & Gravity both manipulate others through a measured push or pull
Earth & Metal are both solid, strong and unyielding in their form
Water & Acid both are fluid in motion and wear away at opposition
Fire & Electricity are dangerously sporadic and intensely energetic
It'll be cool to see what the leader people come up with~ Well, I know that earth is getting metal, and water is getting ice. No idea about fire, and Air may be getting lightning. Really, Air is getting lightning because it is directly related to each other. Fire actually has nothing to do with lightning other than the fact that they can both burn. Neither earth nor air would work with gravity. Gravity is caused by mass, not by earth, nor by air. But I see what you each mean. However, i wouldn't want to bring gravity into the guild anyways. Too much havoc. xD

I said I was going to ask for them to be changed along side them so it makes more sense.... I mean, they can stay if they HAVE to. But I wanted to have them changed.

You know, in a lot of summoning mythology, demonology etc. there's this idea (which falls in line very much with the Nightmare BL roots) that there are worlds operating on different principals which are layered 'within' or 'next to' the material world.
The places aren't infrequently considered to be chaotic in nature, with the worlds and beings appearing almost formless, in the sense that nothing is static, but very malleable. More malleable if the one shaping what's around them is particularly powerful. (Dragon Age references this idea.)
Between the tones of chaos and formlessness, which fire often represents either directly or symbolically, and that fire is considered the element of purging, cleansing or banishing... especially with relation to spirits or souls...
Would Fire getting Spirit Energy work?
Spirit energy's also very befitting of a Bloodline that so closely follows traditions akin to monks, as using ki has been considered to be the manipulation of one's spiritual energy. It's also spiritual energy that is assumed to compose the reincarnating self, and presents both the key and gateway to Nirvana (depending on the translation/sect).
I think it'd be a fun genre of elemental bending in general, both flexible and easy to keep balanced.

Have you ever had one of those days where it feels like life just isn't throwing enough unnecessarily unworkable and conditionally complicated things at you anymore?
I've met people who claim to have. So I'm assuming they exist somewhere.
