"Well he can be kind if he wants to .." she said, looking to Ali for a moment with an almost apologetic expression. She seemed nervous for a moment before continuing. "Rather, upon reflection, it seems that his kindness is shown primarily to females, especially those he believes he may be able to mate with."

Such men....are less then maggots* Ali slowly turned towards where he had come from, tightening his fists in the progress. Then a quick glimpse of the red and black aura rose up and died out within a matter of seconds, before he simply turned back towards Ziven. Shacking his head abit as if to make a vision go away.* What are you so nervous for?

"It just .. Well for the moment, I was concerned you may take what I said personally for you also are kind if you care to be, the rest of the time you are curt, though that is different than being cocky." she said with a nod. Inhaling deeply, she continued, deciding that with Ali, she trusted his honest opinion on things, to this day he had not steered her wrong. "Perhaps I am more oversensitive to activities currently than I realize. Worry, concern, confusion .. all plague me recently, I know not how to truly relax while such feelings prove nigh impossible to cease."

Video games* Ali nodded a few times after he had spoken, Video games were great stress relievers. Ali had been playing them ever since he was a teenager in fact, even now he would on occassions sit in his office and play games.* Either that or drown your worries with alcohol, nevertheless your brain needs to relax.

"Video games? Are those like the Zen MP3 player device? If it uses electricity, I do not know how it functions." she replied honestly, again looking a bit shy. She found that Ali often assumed she was familiar with all things, despite she being fairly certain that he knew she had been raised in a place without technology. "I will consider the idea of becoming intoxicated as a last resort."

Hmm?. Then it's settled, If you visit my castle then I'll stuff you in front of a video game* Ali laughed a little as he saw the look on her face, she probably hadn't seen the video tape he had given her awhile ago even.*

"If it is not an imposition on your time and home, I accept." she said softly. With a bright smile, she bobbed her head to show she would follow him.

The man walked out of the bar and walked a far distance away from the inn. There would be no interruptions, no people to interfere... this had to go perfectly. As soon as he felt he was far enough away he snapped his fingers. The ground began to move sligtly, making a large ring indentation on the ground. This would be the place where the spell would be cast... he gently spun the silver marble as he waited. ((Sorry if it takes me awhile to post. sweatdrop ))

She ran out after the man, carefully following his every movement. When he made the ring she stopped for a moment, wondering if she was really the person for this job. "Creature... I know you do not trust many people... but should I be doing this?" She lowered her gaze to the ground. "I don't think I'll be able to... the spell is complex and if I get it wrong..." ((It's alright!))

"Then his core will shatter and his soul will have to float around in the infinate void... But you were to one he chose. I only wish that Gage were here to help as well..." The man looked down at the silver marble, then shut his hand around it. "Do it, and make sure you do it well." And with that he turned and walked back to the bar. He had somethingn he needed to do... something that felt right.

Moving with graceful strides, Ziven followed after Kain in to the night. She did not know where he was going or if she would find any answers, but she was sure going to try.

He sighed as he sat under a tree enjoying the shade it gave. He had been walking around for a while and decided to take a break. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back. The gentle cross breeze made the tree rustle a bit

Suddenly he jumps to his feet, turning and unsheathing his sword simultaneously. Following through with his action the blade eats through the trunk like a knife through butter. His eyes had become reminiscent of their old murderous luster but that soon faded as he came back to his senses. Slowly he sheathed the SoK as the tree fell and questions began to form in his mind. Noticing his fading shadow he saw the sun setting and decided he should head home

She nodded, a little bit stunned by how calm he was. Silently she sat down and the ground and placed her hands along the circle made by the man. She could hear him walk away... and she was glad. She would be able to concentrate even better now. Inhaling deeply she began to chant the words to a spell she had never done before.
The symbols on her arms after she had completed the second verse of the incantation, weaving themselfs into a certain order. She could feel them burn as they moved, but she continued to chant. Soon the symbols moved off of her arms and ran along the inner-part of the circle. Even stranger symbols began to appear within the circle, as if they were being summoned there by her words. She continued to chant, reciting everyline she had imbedded within her mind. She could not hear the people walk to her.

Holding the silvery marble loose yet securely in her hands, she continued onward, hoping to view Kain again. Instead she felt a different but familiar energy. She moved toward that instead, eventually deep blue eyes fell upon Rayne. Not wanting to disturb her, she kept her distance but continued to observe her, now standing silently a good distance away from her.
