But they had two, Sakura was whiny AND a b**ch and Naruto is an idiot who should have been killed a long time ago, except he kept lucking out.
... I wonder what Naruto would have been like if he died during the whole spiel with Zabuza or even in the first episode.

There could be, he'd just have to change the name of it to something else or tweak it so that it'd make sense.
Besides, could we honestly say it would be a horrible thing if Naruto didn't exist? Or at least the Naruto made by Kishimoto? What if someone came along later and made an even better version of it?
