Miriam The Bat My Astronomy professor is a genius, but he's also a bad teacher. He'll drone on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about the the topic in the most boring way possible, making it impossible to take notes. Not even the star students can pretend they know what he's talking about. But the guy is incredibly smart, kind, and friendly, so no one can really tell him off about it. Thus, I can't do anything in his class but draw and otherwise not concentrate. And so I have no idea what to do in this assignment, and I'm hoing that someone else could explain it properly or do it for me >_> I'll try to copy it from someone tomorrow. I'm not quite sure, but here's what i figure: The proper movement of that star seems to be diagonally downwards and to the right on the graph. So you need to draw parallel lines in that direction through each of your points. Then by moving back on those lines from each point the actual distance/speed the star has passed, you should get only the movement that is attributable to the Earth orbiting and thus making the star go in loops. I think ninja But I can't figure out what the star's proper speed is, I'm afraid... I'm guessing that's why he says to divide the line into 72 parts and all that stuff.

Well, I no longer hold office in the Geology club.
I was running for president and vice president, going against one other person for each office, and didn’t get either. President went to this really loud annoying guy who loves to antagonise me, Vice president went to this blonde chick who only came to the meeting because she was doing lab work in the same room and said “I’ll run” on a whim.
I was at least hoping to continue being vice president. Apparently I did a really bad job at it.
In other news, my dad’s in the hospital because they screwed up his back surgery on monday, and I don’t get to see him today because my mom apparently couldn’t wait an hour for my classes to finish and take me with her.
I think I’ll have a drink.

The new president is a loudmouthed a*****e who always has to have his way. He spent the whole meeting bitching about how we spent most of last year's meetings trying to arrange t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats with the club logo to be made, but had a hard time getting them done because of miscommunication between us, the member who was friends with the t-shirt making guy, and the t-shirt making guy. His main complaint was that he didn't want t-shirts or hats anyway. (FYI, one of the professors requested they be made so we could give them as gifts to guest speakers and other visitors to the department, and so he wouldn't have to continue wearing the club hat from his pal's college.)
He also gave me hell on the club trip to Utah. He spent a lot of time mocking me because I brought my laptop with me and was using it when we wern't doing anything else, saying that I "couldn't live" without my computer. I am perfectly capable of "living" without my computer, it's just that why the hell shouldn't I use it if I'm bored and we're not doing anything else? If it wasn't for me bringing my laptop, I wouldn't have been able to transfer the pictures and videos from all of our cameras, and we would have had to choose and delete pictures to be able to fit 10 days of Utah on our memory cards. I finally got frustraited with him and bought myself a paper notebook to continue writing the story I was working on so he wouldn't make fun of me. Then he started mocking me for playing game boy in the car or in the cabin, saying I "couldn't live" without video games.
The thing was, one of our cabins came with a TV in it and he spent nearly all the time he was inside it watching tv. Not even specific shows, but just whatever s**t was on.
He also got pissed at me one time when we were hiking, because I started hiking in one direction and he wanted to hike in another direction. He started bitching me out, saying that the direction we go in should be a "group decision". Of course, the other guy who was with us wanted to go in my direction too. And as if he ever asked anyone their opinion when he was leading the hike.
And he ignored my constant requests to take a drive through one of the national parks at night in order to see the stars, something I rarely get to see properly since I live in the city. But s**t, whenever something involving fossils was involved, we were there. I got ******** tired of picking up gastroliths and dinosaur bone fragments by day 2, since they were scattered all over the place and you couldnt walk two steps without stepping on one. But he was farking obsessed with them and shipped home two boxes full. He even made us spend a whole day collecting invertebrate fossils that we could have found back home in Buffalo.
But I guess the real reason I dislike him is how he pressured me into talking about my sex life and how my cherry first got popped, and I ended up crying. I think you guys know why.

In Meriko's old Ordering thread, it mentioned Store Credits...how exactly does that work? It was also mentioned in the FAQs thread. It mentioned that they could be gotten by reporting art theft, but in Meriko's thread it showed that people had Gift Store Credits and I wasn't sure how this worked sweatdrop

Care_e dont worry guys, i've been greiving ^^; my mom called me at work today to tell me about my grandpa not doing well and that he would be passing on soon, within a few days or so. I was going to call him today, and have my grandma put the phone to his hear so i could hi and that i loved him. I was pretty upset after i talked with her (which was during my lunch time).... had myself a good cry right in my cubicle ^^; He passed away before my shift ended though sweatdrop

The credits were a gift to those whom found people stealing M&K Inc.'s edits.
They were also a gift from Miriam during christmas to those whom were regulars in the shop.
Since Meriko is going on Hiatus, this means that the credits are getting cashed in for gold. She will still be around, just not as an editor for a while.
Now.. if your wanting to get an order done, I would suggest waiting until one of the editor's, such as Myself or BridgeChan (whom do customs and pre-mades) or Unknown Variable and LadyDelaidra(whom do pre-mades only) to open their shops and then post an order.
