Alex saw Mercina walk in, her hat over her eyes. He rose and headed for her. "Hey Mercina," he said softly once he was within earshot of her.

Alex couldn't see her eyes at the angle of her hat, but she gave a smile towards him and lifted her hand in a small attempt of a wave.

Alex noticed that the wave was a little half-hearted. "Everything okay, Mercina?" he asked, concerned.

Mercina shook her head no and decided to get up and head to the bar for something to drink. She got herself a glass of wine and brought it back over to the table. Sitting down, she adjusted her wings a bit and then took a sip of the wine. Her hat still remaining over her eyes.

Alex, who's neck had grown longer (he was slowly becoming dragon unconciously), leaned forward and looked under the hat. "Are you SURE everythings okay? People who feel all right don't tend to hide their eyes..."

Mercina's eyes were faintly glowing silver from the quick glance he got and she put her hand on his face and pushed him out from infront of her face. She tilted her hat back down to hide her glowing eyes. "I'm positive that everything is just fine." She said very quietly and her voice seemed a bit more flowing than usual. Like it was near an alto singer's voice.

Alex's eyes went wide. "Mercina, why are your eyes glowing sil-" he was cut off as his draconic a** slipped off the chair and he landed on his tail with a loud BAM as the stool fell with him. "SON OF A-" and he proceeded to curse very loudly for a long time, occasionally going into spanish, german, french, draconic, and elven in his cursing. He had changed to his full dragon form and hadn't noticed.

Mercina grinned as she watched him fall to the grown. It was a grin that showed her teeth and it wasn't like the one she usually had that was only her lips curled upwards.

Alex stopped cursing when he saw Mercina's grin. "Mercina, what's happened to you... your eyes are glowing silver, your voice is different... and that grin looks more like a sneer than anything... Mercina, what's going on?"

"Nothing at all from the norm for me, Alex." She brought the glass up to her grinning lips and took a sip of her wine.

Alex felt something inside him tug his gaze to the window. The full moon. His were form was longing for- Wait... that was it. It was the full moon. "So THIS is what happens to you at full moon, Mercina... huh? You go all scary?" He turned his gaze back to her, truely terrified. Yet concern also showed in his eyes.

Mercina just kept the hat over her eyes and let out a small chuckle at his question. She then took another sip of her wine.

Alex pulled himself over, then looked at the fallen chair. "I guess I'm not sitting next to you anymore..." he muttered, curling up by the fire, watching Mercina carefully.
