Rex walks in with Cyndaquil at his side, Darumaka had completely healed. So Rex was much happier. "Oh hey Thard."

I glance at Rex's Pokemon. "Evening, Rex. Looks like Nurse Joy got your Darumaka patched up with her usual expertise."

"Daru!" Darumaka smiled. Cyndaquil and Darumaka began running around, playing tag.
"Yup, I was a little worried at first." Rex smiled. "But Nurse Joy just did her thing."

I smile at Cyndaquil and Darumaka's game before returning my attention to Rex.
"So, anything interesting happen today that I should know about?"

"Nope, today has been really quiet." He sighed. Cyndaquil tripped and skidded a couple more feet. Darumaka ran up to it, tagged it, then ran off in the opposite direction.

Xatu hops backwards to avoid Darumaka's getaway.
...
Since Rex's pokemon ran off in their game, it appears as though their trainer went to search for them. I leave them to their fun and teleport out with Xatu.

Rex woke up in the common room. Cyndaquil and Darumaka curled up together. "Return." He recalled the sleeping Pokemon. He went to the HQ control box and began powering up the HQ.

Ginji flew into HQ on Dragonite. "RP this weekend, yes?" he asks as he starts to draw up a guild announcement.

"Eh?" I say, noticing a post on the wall calendar, "So we're going back on Monday, are we? Hopefully it'll be late enough that I can help."

I make a note to try and show up as early as possible on Monday. A few tumbleweed kills later, I dim the lights and head back out.

Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind? Maddy walked in through the teleporter.
