( I would have watched fireworks on Canada day... crying ... but no one remembered to invite me to come with, or even tell me they were going. crying .. jerks.. >> *is bitter slightly*.... OOO!! Chocolate milk!! *is distracted, bad feelings gone*)

((Aww. Don't feel bad. This was the first year since my sister was born that we've made an effort to watch fireworks some where besides our back porch, and we live in the middle of no where so you don't see much. XD ))

('s all good. ^^ and aww. XD I lived in the middle of no where for the better part of 20 years. >< Then I moved here.. Still middle of nowhere.. but atleast its a small crappy city instead of a house surrounded by feilds that I'm allergic to. XD and >-> I'm bored again. I blame the chocolate milk.)

((lol The only distinguishing features of where I live are the strawberry fields and the alpacas in the field next to our neighborhood. XD Also live near fields I'm allergic to... That and we seem to be Bradford Pear city. ._.' ))

( Oo.. my house was just surrounded by grain crops and... random shrubs sticking out of flat huge open space. Oo. Nothing to see at all, or anything impressive. XD )

Maverick caught a bit of deception in her voice. Heck he was used to catching such things from time to time. "Huh? Oomizu is somthing going on" he asked her. "Well if you really are tired then we can go to bed, but i kinda wanted to catch up with you tonight... I missed you after all... "

Oomizu looked up to him and saw his face. He could tell she was lieing. Still, she smiled lightly and shook her head gently. "Nothing really... I've just had a really stressful day... After all, one of my closest friends just died and I could do nothing to help her... And I had so many people to heal nearly all day with hardly any sleep... I just need rest..." She really did wish she could tell him that she needed to leave, but she wasn't sure if he'd be just as upset as Jack had been at the news.

Maverick shook his head as he softly pressed his lips to hers. He had been longing to kiss her so bad. He broke the kiss and looked to her "Oomizu... i want you to trust in me, to be able to tell me anything. If we are going to trust each other and maybe even... become more then we are now, we need to start talking and confiding in eachother more...."

Oomizu pressed her lips against his, enjoying the kiss. She was a little sad he broke it what seemed so quickly, but she said nothing. She just pouted and looked up to him the way a child would to something they wanted. She looked down, still pouting before she closed her eyes and sighed. "I can't tell you because you'll follow, and it's unsafe. You need to stay." Her tone was determined and unwavering. Her expression matched her tone, but it was much more saddened than her words had been.

Maverick shook his head "Ill stay but only if you tell me what is going on....Please" he told her in with a pleading look. He closed the distance between him and her little pouty face threatening to kiss her again.

Oomizu looked up to him with a soft blush before she closed her eyes, giving in. "Alright... Lately, I have been having these dreams... there is a woman in the dream, and she keeps telling me that the world is in danger... But, more importantly, some of my closest friends. Ostrova and Joseph are like brothers to me, and..." She paused for a moment before she looked up to Maverick. "She told me that to save them I have to go defeat this enemy that's got their souls trapped... So I'm going to travel to the city she told me to in my dreams. No one else knows besides you and my godfather... And it better stay that way. No one is coming with me." She stressed that no one should know or follow her. She wanted them to stay safe, and that meant they should stay.

Maverick smiled as he pressed his lips once again on to hers. it was kinda like giving her a reward for comming clean to him. After a passionate kiss with her he broke it and smiled ."Ok Oomizu. Promise me you will stay safe ok... and umm before you go... " He went to the cabinet and pulled out two gloves. Both of them had a alchemy circle on them. My great grandfather said that one of his bosses was able to make fire out of his gloves. These were the ones he used. All you have to do is snap your fingers and you will have the power of fire at your finger tips" he smiled to her. I wish i could offer more but this is still so sudden...." He pulled out a piece of paper with a really complicated circle on it. "This one... Only use it in a extreme emergancy... This circle is said to open a gate to the truth or something like that. its a alternate universe that can only be acessed with Alchemy. It will suck your foes into a black hole like thing... however if you are ganna use it make sure you hold on to something cause it will suck you in too if your careless..." He sighed as he took her into his arms "...Do.. you think you could stay the whole night with me today Oomizu... just tonight at least"

Oomizu closed her eyes and pressed her lips against his. This was definitely help her keep going. When it broke, she listened to him and blinked in surprise. She held the gloves and looked down at them with her mouth slightly open. "Roy's gloves... When did he lose these? He had always had them on before he disappeared in this world..." She held onto them with an astonished expression. She'd have to ask Maverick to consider letting her give them to Bunko. He had been her (adoptive) father, even if it was brief. She saw the paper and slipped the gloves on- perfect fit, surprisingly- before she took the paper and nodded. It was like her gift; it needed to be used only when needed. She slipped in into the top of her armor so it'd be quick to access when the time came. Hopefully it would help. After all, this thing had never been beaten by any one... This would at least get it to leave. She held onto him tightly and rested the side of her head against his shoulder. "I can't... Now is too opportune to leave. Spy's in jail, Kratos betrayed the group, and Faya is dead. The group is losing members quickly, so one more disappearing would not make as great an impact if as it would if I stuck around too much longer... Besides, Bunko would feel betrayed if I stayed just long enough for Faya's funeral before I left. Leaving before will upset her, but not as much as after..." She sighed lightly and closed her eyes. "Believe me, I want to stay... But I have to go now before I change my mind and it becomes another month before I act... Besides, the longer I wait, the more danger everyone is in."

Maverick nodded "Well apperantly he had a lot of them made... and well my grand father found the stash and borrowed a pair." he sighed when he heard she couldnt stay long. "I see... I really am going to miss you Oomizu. So much.... Im tempted to try to convince you to stay but i know i shouldnt" he sighed "Ill be waiting for you to return so make sure you get back safely." he told her as he leaned in and gave her another long and passionate kiss

Oomizu smiled sadly before they kissed once more. She really was going to miss him and everyone else. "I promise to come home safely. After all, I have Aunt Nina's ring with me. She'll keep watch over me." She placed a hand on the ring dangling next to the blue stone. Both of those would remind her that people were there for her should she need help. She looked up to Maverick and smiled sadly. "I love you..."
