Kassa looked at the two and smiled with a little apprehension; Personally, she was a bit scared of how badly one was treated by the other, but it really wasn't her place to do anything about it.

"Well, then. I pronounce you two as husband and wife," she said, "Sabe, you may now kiss the bride"

Sabe got a little dizzy as his feelings violently shifted from fearful to elated to dour and back, and hugged Waffle to plant a kiss on her lips.

They were supposed to turn to the crowd and wave at them, but a loud 'pop' was heard not too far from the site. Kassa happened to be looking out into the distance and saw a bullet headed straight for Sabe. She immediately reached over the altar, knocking a few candles over to push them out of the line of fire. Kassa cried out and tumbled backward as she took a bullet to the side of her forehead, and the nobility that were standing on the sides of the stage fled or ducked for cover.

"Don't panic guys, just duck for cover! I'm not gonna let some fool get away without fillin' them with lead first!", the speaker rang out as a firing squad took their positions and fired at what they thought was a hired assassin.

KD didn't duck, she ran toward Kassa the second she saw blood. She held her head in her lap and used the rest of her body to shield her from the chaos that unfolded around them. She frantically searched her pocket... damn it, I do not have any healing potion...

( Correction: Half of her is robotic, but yes, she was introduced about a year ago :3 )

Waffle got up and ushered Sabe and anyone else on the stage away from the flying bullets, including KD. She had to get help from Sabe and a few others to drag Kassa by her metal arm. Kassa got groggy and her internal hardware got glitchy as a mysterious light blue fluid leaked out of the wound, mixed with a small amount of blood. The bullet had burrowed through the metal half of her head. Bullets were still after Sabe for no visible reason until he was out of the crosshair's sight.

When finally at a safer location, Waffle, Sabe and Kassa were escorted into the castle, while security guards nabbed KD for trespassing. Gunfire from the stationed squadron continued until the target fell out of a tree not too far away.

"We are okay, Bro. I'm not sure about KD, Sabe and Waffle though. I lost sight of them when KD bolted to the altar." Pen kept her head down as well but slowly made her way to the end of the row to see out into the aisle. As much she could see she didn't see a sign of the three.

Luciano managed to crawl to the isle, and when he saw it was all clear he stood up and then helped Michelle up. He dusted himself off, then helped dust her off and he said to the group, "Alright, let's search for Waffle and Sabe, but first let's tend to the wounded; anyone here, besides KD, a good healer?"

Aly just lay on the floor calmly finger polishing the metal flower petals of her hair piece. I should have known to bring a better weapon considering this teams luck to bad luck ratio, She thought as she shifted her to her feet at the sound of Luciano's voice.
"I am...," Aly called looking around and started to walk around looking for hurt people.

Luciano let out a heavy sigh. Now he really was regretting that he come so unprepared, but Louie had the right idea. Luciano walked over to Louie and he asked, "Have a back-up?" Michelle gasped and she said, "You're kidding, right? What will we need guns for?!" Luciano sighed and he said, "Just in case things get REALLY bad!- Like, worse than they are now!"
Little did Luciano know that the target was already taken down, but he really couldn't be sure; For all he knew, there could've been more out there just waiting to get a clear shot of Waffle and Sabe.
One question was left still unanswered: Why Sabe? And who did he piss off so much they'd want him dead?. . . Ok, that was more like two.
