I almost got hit twice today... I'm just really glad no one was behind me, because two dumb trucks tried to mirge into me to beat the traffic. gonk

Such as: video game characters, gay guys that would want to marry a woman, and cute guys that are nice, nerdy, and actually know what I'm talking about when I start talking about anime. e__e

SF: You're still only a sophomore. Give it time. :P I'm nearly 17 and I've still never had a girlfriend. Most people "hook up" and start being mature about relationships around late college-years anyhow. ^^

You're still young and your love life undeveloped. The right guy will come along eventually, either because you'll find someone to your liking or your tastes will change.

I may find someone, but even then, if we decide to get married, I'm gonna prolly ask that my only wedding gift is enough money to pay for a surgery to ensure that no matter how many times we do it, I won't have a baby. I know that sounds immature, but I have a good reason for not wanting to have children. I'd rather adopt 15 children who need a home and family that loves them than add to the millions of children who don't have one. SF: Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. :3 However I think that the surgery would probably be better as something on the side than for a wedding gift. xD (IMO) I mean, wouldn't you rather something pretty for a wedding gift and have the surgery beforehand as well? xD

I have a female-to-male transexual friend who's trying to get, um... his tubes tied, but his doctor refuses to do it because he believes my friend might have a "change of heart" later and will want to have a baby later. Most doctors won't allow you to get thoes surgerys, especially if you're young, unless you've already had a baby.
I personally want to have kids the natural way, but if I find myself unable to, I'll adopt.

Miri: My mother had trouble getting the surgery for the same reason. All she had to do was tell the doctor that she'd go pay the lot of money elsewhere to have it done and the guy agreed to do it. xD

Oh boy, I don't think I could ever ask my family for tube-tying money. That's the kind of thing you buy once you enter the working world yourself 0_0.
I'm hoping that my parents will buy me and my future hubby a cruise to Antartica for our honeymoon as a wedding gift. We'd fly out of Hawai'i to New Zeland, since the wedding is at Volcanoes National Park anyway...

Miri: Talking the doctor into doing the surgery. Even though she'd already had three kids, the doctor was refusing to perform the surgery, thinking my mother might have a change of heart later on.
