Fomite WTF? gonk Phone rings. I answer, hoping it's somebody calling about a job. Wrong Number Guy: Hi, can I speak to Mary? Me: Sorry, there's no Mary at this number. Guy: Oh, I'm sorry. I must have dialed a wrong number. Me: No problem. Bye 10 seconds later, phone rings again. Again Guy: Hi, can I speak to Mary? Me: Sorry, this is the same wrong number again. Guy: Oh, I'm sorry about that. Is this (confirms number)? Me: Yes, that's the number. Guy: Oh, darn. I'm sorry. Me: No problem. I get a lot of wrong number calls on this phone. You might check with your friend, it might be a wrong area code or something. Guy: Is this (confirms area code). Me: Yes, it is. I'm not really sure, I don't know if somebody's giving out the wrong number, or what's happening. But I get a lot of wrong number calls on this phone. Guy: Oh, that sucks. So there's definitely no Mary? Me: No, this is my work cell phone, so I'm the only one at this number. Guy: Oh! I'm really sorry. Me: Oh, that's all right. Guy: So...are you here in Fort Collins, then? Me: Er...yeah, I am. Guy: ... Are you single? ... gonk

3.14 Is it just me, or are the 'Gaia Anti-Nubkin Defenders' a bunch of no-nothing prats?
All it's turned out to be are so called "anti-elitists", who, coincidentially were elitists who were proven wrong in an argument, became humble and collaborated together in groups to become defenders of newbies.
Makes me so mad! mad They don't "defend" anyone because they felt bad for them. They only do it because they feel as though they've been kicked in the balls and thrown off their high horses.
Blahhh...just had to rant a little. You guys are the ONLY reason I come back to Gaia, otherwise it would just be another blocked site on my compy like Runescape.

Okay, I'm getting tired of coming into the AG and seeing people jump at each other's throats every so often. I mean, yeah, sometimes you need to let out some steam, but this is going overboard.
For the longest time, I feel like you two, Musuu and Stream, have been goading each other with these petty little things, and I really think it needs to stop. Both parties were wrong, get over it.
However, as much as I love you all, I'm gonna take a little break from the AG until I feel as if I can return without having to frown at almost every other page of posts. So, for the time being, I'm going back to the AMC, and may pop in to backlog/post, but don't expect it too often. I'll come back when I feel as if I'm ready and everything's cooled down a little.

I think, if there was a very convincing soot-replacement, I could finally change outfits. crying It'd be nice to be able to use my Nightmare Scarf and OMG in outfits again. ...But not nice enough for me to give up the soot.
(Which will give me the wonderful opportunity of building up someone with like...another color outfit other than black or red. sweatdrop )My inventory is mostly random assortments of colors that don't match at all. Is anyone here at all surprised by that? a *Fishy* spidernosaur who's kinda in knight gear (or as close as I could get). xd heart

crying I can't say I wasn't dissapointed with what happened...with both people... but instead of trying to bring it back, I'll try and switch gears here...
Any one else here an Art Arena fan? Did anyone else aside from me notice that Joulee is no longer #1??? ZORMG!!!1
And there was an artist there, in the top 10 who was, I guess, at some point taken down. I'm not sure if he/she was banned from Gaia or what, but if you know their name, just let me know. I wanted to look at his/her art again.
Pic description #1: It was a girl, an angel girl, who was kneeling in and parting a pool of water. Done purely in the anime style, not much that was realistic, but her colors were super bright...sort of reminded me of Lisa Frank stuff. The girl's hair was black/dark blue and her eyes were two different colors: blue and green. That's all the details I can remember or possibly explain about that one.
Pic description #2: Also done purely in an anime style, and I think she had written something Japanese or Korean on the side. The girl in this also had two different eyes, one was brownish-redish, and the other one was a cat eye sort of thing that was yellow-goldish. She had short brown hair and a cloak or cloth on her head of some kind which was blowing in the wind. There was also a whole desert theme with dust clouds behind and in front of her.
If anyone can recall the artists name, I'd sure like to see some of their art again.
