If ****** means Negro & they are Negro then how the ******** is ****** an insult? stare The same way that calling you fat would be offensive if you are fat, or calling someone ugly would be offensive if they are ugly. No matter what kind of rationale you try to place on it, the word '******' is offensive because it has negative connotations. I'm sure homosexual people prefer to be called 'gay' rather than a 'f*****t', because even though they technically mean the same thing, the word 'f*****t' has negative connotations.

Look at the statistics of crime commited in the U.S.A and the ratio of black males that have done jail time and are unemployed to the ones who actually went out and became upstanding members of society.
