LEO: I saw a UFO once, man. It was awesome! It just hung in the air. Then it sent me a message! In big bright yellow letters, told me I was gonna have a good year!

modest is when you downplay yourself. Like if someone says to you "Man, you just won the basket-ball game for us!" After you had made an amazing move and you said "Aw, it wasn't that important!" that would be modesty.

Sometimes people mistake low self-esteem for modesty. Like if you REALLY don't think you're that good-looking when someone says you are, and you say "No, not really." or something of the like, they could mistake that for modesty.
