Alex smiled and lay down on the couch. It was more comfortable than sitting because his tail wasn't squished. He focused on Zero, determined to hear his story out.
Alex like stories.

After listening to the tale, she just had a smile on her face. It was very interesting and filled with many events. Most were bad, but still interesting. "Wow. So many things."

Alex simply sat there, overwhelmed. "Wow..." is all he said. He blinked and stared into the fire. His life would take far shorter to recount. All it had been was Born, took a liking to darkness, went bad, did bad things for good causes, went away, learned water magic, came back, killed bad thing, the end. He smiled slightly. Guess that's why we make our lives out to be more than just stupid things, huh?

Mercina choked on her drink a bit at the mention of his age. It was one of shock that she was older than him, but it came off as if she was shocked about his age and looking so young.

Alex stared. He hadn't expected Zero to be so old... he thought Zero was YOUNG. Well... I guess he's going to outlive me... already has.

Mercina was still coughing and she tapped her chest a few times with her closed fist. "Just... Fine..." She then gave a hesitant laugh.

Mercina just nodded at his words because she was still shocked that she was older than him. She thought with that history of his, he'd at least be older than her.
