Him and I go hiking / camping / hunting all the time. :0 He uses it as a compass.

well, that's what it is, a compas.
Though field geologists use it as a tool to measure the orientation of strikes and dips of a rock surface.
My geology professor tells us that if we trip and fall while doing field work, fall on your head before you fall on your brunton. That's because a good jolt could knock it out of alignment and destroy your field work. And because it's a funny thing to say.

I hate myself because I'm a b***h.
Earlier today, my mom found a picture of me and my boyfriend from when we first met almost 4 years ago. The first thing she said was "He sure was skinny..."
And it's the truth, that he was a tall, skinny, and mildy attractive guy when I started dating him. But now he's significantly overweight and it's not doing anything for me. And all of my efforts to get him back into shape (I even bought him a bike for christmas, which he doesn't use because he gets too tired after using it) aren't working. I mean, I've never been one to date people for looks, but, he's gotten lazy and doesn't put any effort into looking good for me. At least all the chubby guys I've had crushes on before I met him had some muscle to back it up. It's dissapointing not having a good looking guy for a boyfriend, and it makes me feel like a total b***h for not accepting it.
Our four year anniversary is October 25th... I think it's too late in the game to change anything, huh?
