Corphish stopped, tears coming to its eyes. It ran off somewhere into the HQ. "See now look what you did Nick...." Rex sighed and went off to find where Coprhish went.

"Unfortunately, yes." Nick retracted his TADS and put it back in his pocket. "I'm tired. I just want to stop going already." Nick looked at the Corpsih and shrugged. "Meh."

"Wait..." Rex came back in the common room and turned on some little kids show. Corphish came back at lightning speed to watch the cartoon.

Shaydas watched the Corphish come back at the sight of cartoons. "Huh," he said, still upside down. "I've never seen one of those move so fast. Wow, I'm actually getting a little lightheaded..." He had no idea how long he had been hanging from the ceiling like that.

Shaydas blinked. "I've never seen a Pokémon so enthralled by a television," he mused. "Even Mudkip doesn't react like that to my radio... most of the time. Whoa!!!" He shouted and fell from the bar, missing the couch by almost a foot, landing on the hard tile floor behind it. He lay there for a second, twitching slightly.

Corphish didn't even twitch. He was almost like a statue, staring blankly at the television. Rex held back a laugh and went to help the Lucario up. "You okay?" Rex asked.

Shaydas accepted Rex's help and brushed himself off. "I think I'm alright," he smiled. "When you've had as many encounters with Skarmory as I have, you don't feel as much pain as most." He stared at Rex's Corphish, truly amazed to see a Pokémon sit that still while staring at something.

*Falls out of a SIV portal*
"Waaaaahhhhhh!!!" I yell, though the portal is kind enough to drop me into a chair in the kitchen.
"Ah, so there you are. Where did you disappear to this time?"
"Not... entirely sure. There were little creatures riding around on slimes... and I think a Pegasus."

"That's an odd place for an SIV portal to take you." Ginji commented. "Though I'm one to talk, I got dropped off in the lady's locker room of a local high school one time." he smirked, he'd been searching for that same portal ever since, but has ceased to find it to this day.

On hearing Ginji's tale, I add, "Lucky dog, Ginji. If Shuppet knew such a portal existed you can bet he'd be trying to get in too."
